How To Get More Views on TH-cam - Six Steps
Step 1: 00:58 Search for the best title to use for your video. Use Google Adwords Keyword Tool adwords.google.com/o/KeywordTool to find the keyword phrase that will get the most views. Second thing, use Google insights for search to figure out the demographics and trends. www.google.com/trends/
Step 2: 03:03 Making a Great Description for that TH-cam Video. The call to action should be at the top. This call to action will be seen in Google. So it's very important that we have that URL and also use the key phrase close to the top of the video. Then make that description like a blog post. This is really important to get more view on TH-cam.
Step 3: 04:25 We want to transcribe that video. To get more views on the TH-cam Video you need it to be found in the search engine on TH-cam, google and others. With using the transcription, you make it easier for search engines to know what content is being said in the video. this is very important for search. And also this is a great technique if you go ahead and use that transcription, if your having a hard time coming up with ideas, for your description, go ahead and use the transcription in the description.
Step 4: 05:34 Customize that thumbnail baby. You know it's important to get the right image because that image will cause people to click. Now if you don't know how to customize the thumbnail then look here:

Step 5: 06:06 Putting in those annotations in the video. You can click on that and it will actually take you to another video. Increasing his views on this other video. the end of the video you want to be able to have a place where you can showcase some videos and do something funny here or whatever and have your subscribe link. This gets subscribers on that TH-cam Channel. The more subscribers that you have the more video views you have. Because once you introduce, people get notified that there is a video out and the views go up. It just gets easier and easier to get those views.
Step 6: 07:07 Have great content that will engage the viewer. And the great thing is once you have a great video that has great content, it doesn't matter what it is, it will apply to a certain market. And when it's good, you'll get those video views on TH-cam.

Thank you for the advice Derral Eves. I mostly post videos because I enjoy gaming and I want to share my love of gaming with the TH-cam community (especially other gamers). Making lots of money on TH-cam and becoming a TH-cam personality aren't really the most important things to me right now (although I must say, both of those would certainly be nice). I guess when it comes down to it, I really just want to be an inspiration to other people and make them smile, laugh, and be filled with happiness. My current fanbase always seems eager to view my videos and I am so grateful to have the fans I have now, because many of them look up to me and it makes me feel really special and influential. Anyways, besides the point, your video has given me hope that maybe someday I can make it out there. I believe I can do it, but I think I will have to wait for the right people to see my content and spread the word about it. Until that happens, I will just keep my head up, keep posting my content, and hope for the best. Again, thank you very much for the advice and for your encouragement Derrel Eves! :)

HEY, YOU ARE SO HELPFUL.
I've been making TH-cam ( guitar lesson ) video for about 12 years. Things have changed a lot since 2006. People's attention spans have shrunken big time thanks to all the videos and social media that we are exposed to. My videos are educational, which is challenging for me because nowadays people want to be entertained, not educated. So that's the first step in making a TH-cam video now; ENTERTAIN, don't educate. Also, when I first started making videos in 2006, there were only a few thousand guitar lesson videos, now there are over 16 million! So there the competition for view is high now; thumbnails have to be flashy and attractive to someone just skimming through a video search, same thing with the titles. I'm adding bright coloured emoji's to my video titles now so hopefully that will help out my video views.
