I live down the road off hwy 411. I camp those woods. Way to many things happen out there. Its not to far from where they filmed deliverance with Burt Reynolds .
There are people that dropped out entirely & completely from the system and this current version of what passes for society everywhere. I remember being told of groups of wild men that dropped out to live in the rainforests up north. They were supposedly made up of a majority of Vietnam Vets completely traumatised from how they were used to maim and kill for the government only to have directly copped the disgust and anger by 100,000 people on their return to country. This is what supposedly made them snap. Last one i heard about was a disturbing encouter a woman had about 20 years ago. Pretty quiet since. Anyway, interesting content and greetings from Australia
As a vet I have the utmost respect for nam vets. I have a good friend who’s over. 30 years my senior who’s a nam vet, and the way they were treated when they came home is a pure disgrace.

On tubi there is a new series called Outsiders. It is about ferrals, with several twists and turns. I am completely addicted!! I just started episode 1/season2
Are there different types of ferals? From what I’m understanding/hearing, some seem to have come from our modern civilizations, but others it’s more like an non contact tribe type thing
I agree areas with lots of people are generally safer. The amount of back country camping o use to do though… let’s just say I’m glad I didn’t know these stories back then. Not sure I can even count the number of nights I spent solo in the woods.
@darkwilderness2392 I always had a 2nd amendment tool with me.. didn't care what the law had to say, I was making sure that I wasn't going to be somethings next meal or who knows what individuals would have planned.
I wish we had that right up here. Ya, we could carry a rifle or shotgun with us in the back country, but they are a lot heavier and harder to maneuver with in a small space like a tent.
Those bear bangers normally work the first time however if they end up coming back for a second attempt the next day well say , more often then not it doesnt work a second time on the same bear they aint stupid nothing happen to them with the first banger an they remember that so they not so inclined to fall for the same trick twice lol
Appalachian here. I take these claims seriously, though I don’t have enough to say it’s real or not. We have had feral populations before that were exterminated by the government. There was some degree of backlash that they were taking out humans. But there are sections of the park that were completely inaccessible even to rangers. That doesn’t mean that someone who’s entire life is deep woods Appalachia couldn’t access it. Your average housebroken Appalachian does better on advanced trails than people who’ve never been to the mountains. Humans adapt. ATVs and SUVs can’t. We also have people go pretty deep out there to make meth, or run from the law, or because they don’t want anything to do with society. They can be out there for a long time. What happens to people when they experience isolation? They go very deep into survival mode, and lose social skills. We still had modern comforts and could communicate with quarantine but people are struggling socially even now after 3 years of it being back to normal. There is no guarantee that a small group of already likely unstable people went out there years ago for some shady reason, and made babies who’ve never been in society. There is no guarantee they got every single feral person when the government was hunting them. Odds are they would be much like the more elusive animals out here due to small numbers and the intellectual capacity to dodge being seen. They would be unlikely to spot. But we don’t question when someone sees a mountain cougar because it is known to exist. We don’t question when teenagers find moonshining or meth setups because that does, occasionally happen. Whether they are generationally feral or not, the odds of encountering someone who is more animal than human out there isn’t zero. So it’s best to treat dirty, animalistic, wild eyed people as if they are feral and get yourself away from them, asap. Handle people who look like they may be feral as you would bears, cougars, etc. It could just be some druggie who’s high out of their mind but even then, you are best served by getting away from them!
With what seems to have become a permanent homeless population walkways had hiking trails are likely to become permanent residents for some people. If it is not here already it is coming.
A lot of through hikers will shuttle from a road grossing to town but hitch hiking, or some do what’s called “skipping” and hitchhike to bypass a section of a trail as well.
Whats the deal with being filthy though? All types of people have the ability to wash themsleves in water. ? Are cannibles? I say that because certain infections can cause insanity and even cannibalism. Even tribes living in the jungles for generations clean themselves.
Were this actually true there would be actual police reports and bodies. It would be national news... but it is a really fun story! ❤ always carry guns when in the wilderness and video stuff
See I know what your referring to but others will probably think something different. For reference to what he is talking about, check out the video called "Something stalked us through the woods"

I never go out in the woods without a pistol, a pocket knife, a shotgun, a hunting rifle, 3 javelin rockets and a fleet of attack drones... and a can opener.
lol the can open at the end was gold!
I live down the road off hwy 411. I camp those woods. Way to many things happen out there. Its not to far from where they filmed deliverance with Burt Reynolds .
Thanks for the comment! Have you ever had any run ins or know anyone who has?
Any trail cam pics of these feral groups of people?
im not sure...
The cover photo is just funny. The man is what supposed to be Ferel. Huh sure does have mighty good teeth to be ferel, must a new convert to be ferel
LOL ya, hard to find good pics
@darkwilderness2392 lmao I can imagine so wasn't being rude when I commented thought it was funny, keep doing what you do like your story's
@darkwilderness2392 totally agree. It was conscription ffs! Poor buggers
I live in east central Alabama, and grew up in the woods. Have a few stories about the people that lived deep in the woods.
Would you mind shooting me an email? id love to hear those stories.
@@darkwilderness2392 sure!
What part of Canada are you in? I grew up in New Hampshire and I have traveled to Montreal a couple times.
@@LocalSquatch5281 I’m from Winnipeg in Manitoba
That’s terrifying
i agree!
He tells the story as if he was there observing the whole thing
I tried to reply but for some reason it isnt showing. Thank you! Attention to detail was something I spent a good amount of time learning in the military as a Combat Engineer. Need to pay attention detail when dealing with explosives.
You're s,good story teller.
Thank you so much!
G U N
Yup
You have to have your vehicle already turned around so you can jet out fast if something like that comes up...
On tubi there is a new series called Outsiders. It is about ferrals, with several twists and turns. I am completely addicted!! I just started episode 1/season2
I will need to check that out, sounds super interesting.
@@darkwilderness2392 as soon as I am home, I am going to watch it.
Are there different types of ferals? From what I’m understanding/hearing, some seem to have come from our modern civilizations, but others it’s more like an non contact tribe type thing
I have heard that too
Rest areas aren't the nicest places either.. I would recommend stopping at a place where there's plenty of people and movement..
I wonder if those "feral people" ever see Sasquatch.
Possibly? Btw, love your profile pic
They eat lunch together sometimes.
Like the real v AI narration.
Me too!!
Perhaps the national park service just considers those people as part of the wildlife and natural habitat that they don't want to mess with
Interesting theory!
I am buying a bear banger, just to say I have one.
Sounds like a plan!
No form of protection? He was in a 3 ton weapon!
Good point
I never leave the house without a firearm!!
Thats a good plan! wish we had that option up here
Silly boys. Never question your instincts! Altho I envy them their encounter.
Yup! Always trust your gut! You must be a total bad-ass if you envy them LOL. You Aussies are a tuff bunch though. Thanks for the comment!
The details are great for a story. Who cares about the preamble get to it Man.....
thanks for the comment
I would be scared to death! I'd probably never camp again.
Yup me too!
My, what great dentistry they have! 😁
@@hed2410 ?
People should actually carry 2 powerful hand guns side arm and an ankle gun extra extra amo ........
Good plan!
Just a guess but the mud all over their bodies might help keep the skeeters and bugs from biting them
Thats my guess as well
It sounds like the people were curious.
Possibly!
Those bear bangers normally work the first time however if they end up coming back for a second attempt the next day well say , more often then not it doesnt work a second time on the same bear they aint stupid nothing happen to them with the first banger an they remember that so they not so inclined to fall for the same trick twice lol
Yup
Thanks for sharing that!
What did they report to the police? That people walked around their truck?
My guess is the whole situation
👍👍👍
Thanks!
Can ypu make a video of reptilian/lizard men encounters please 😊x
I did one a while back on something in the Everglades, might be similar to what you are looking for.
@@darkwilderness2392 brilliant do you have the link ? X
With what seems to have become a permanent homeless population walkways had hiking trails are likely to become permanent residents for some people. If it is not here already it is coming.
Well said!
@@darkwilderness2392 Maybe in urban areas but they won't survive in the real boonies.
I live 20 minutes away. They’re more common than you’d assume and have no problem living in a lush, temperate rainforest.
From Cincinnati and loves the Smokies, it’s only about a 5 hour drive. And only a few places to hike in between. Not buying this one.
Im not from the area, just share the details shared with me.
Ive hiked the whole Appalachian trial and never had an issue with anything or anyone
Lots of reports from people who were not so fortunate. Thanks for the comment.
You were very lucky. Do not count on that to happen again.
Wtf..makes people go feral?....society😉😉
That would be a good cause now days lol
Oh, no, not this. Goddamn, Canadian guy again.
Ouch
Lol photo of a car at night
lol yup
We don't use kilometers! Smh
We do. Miles auto converts to KM in my stubborn Canadian brain.
Wonder what language that was? Thats a clue to who these people are.
Good point.
Why the shades?
Why not the shades? I dunno, personal things, always have shades on my hat.
Why would you go on hiking trip depending on hitching a ride from somebody
A lot of through hikers will shuttle from a road grossing to town but hitch hiking, or some do what’s called “skipping” and hitchhike to bypass a section of a trail as well.
Hwy129 is not an interstate. It is a US hiway.
Thanks
That's it protect the woods ...keep the humans out
interesting comment.
i thought the Democrats were in the cities where da welfare is
Umm
Wonder what Bigfoot think about them
Interesting to think about! Thanks for the comment!
Trenny Gibson

Mr.Ballen
John is the SHIT! Guys badass as hell!
Whats the deal with being filthy though? All types of people have the ability to wash themsleves in water. ? Are cannibles? I say that because certain infections can cause insanity and even cannibalism. Even tribes living in the jungles for generations clean themselves.
My guess is mud to keep bugs off.
@@darkwilderness2392 i never even considered that
I live in the area. It’s a temperate rain forest and can get quite muddy.
Mosquitoes are worse in Michigan for some reason.
Were this actually true there would be actual police reports and bodies. It would be national news... but it is a really fun story! ❤ always carry guns when in the wilderness and video stuff
Always good to be prepared
Eh…like ur accent
lol thanks bud
The bloody Jordan Peterson voice is bloody distracting
Ok..
Thousands of these channels with the same shit. Technology… we wouldn’t need these made up stories. But make ur many while you can.
Lots of reports not everyone can be making them up
Maybe Oprah was just some wild person lol
See I know what your referring to but others will probably think something different. For reference to what he is talking about, check out the video called "Something stalked us through the woods"
Why do you move your hands so much when you talk
Thanks for the comment
The feral people DO NOT LOOK LIKE HIM, THEY LOOK LIKE YOU. 😮
…
Get to the point bro. Way too much unnecessary information
Then the video would only be a few minutes. Part of story telling
What was the name of the town they firat came too?
I would need to go back and check. Filmed those a while ago.
Americans, if screaming and guns doesn’t work to solve a problem they no idea what to do anymore😂
all else fails... run
Talk miles not kilometers, I'm not in Canada you may be in Canada
I’m more familiar with KM since we use Metric. I auto convert miles to km in my head when I see or hear miles.
He can use whatever system he wants its his video, who are you that you expect him to use miles for your convinience? Entitled yank.
