If you're on PC, after you reset the game, apparently, it stops working again... "It's because PC players can't save vehicle's non-lsc wheel color, trim color and accent color(aka dashboard color). The front light bar color on La Coureuse is its accent color. This week the La Coureuse in Simeon showroom has Pure White accent color (color id: 134), meaning it is non-lsc color so PC players can't save it. Its non-lsc accent color will revert to Black after you restart the game. However, vehicles on consoles work well. R* it is"
To get a different colored light you have to merge a car with the interior color you want, so if its lime green you need a car with lime green interior
I do that sometimes too, if it's a car I really like and the stock wheels are dope. The Torero XO, I have 2, the last time it was in Luxury Auto the stock wheels were black so I copped it 👏👏👏
u can change stock wheels color by buying any cheap modified wheels and put color u like, change back to stock wheels again. Go story mode and back to online invite/solo/friend only . Then BOOM u got what color u want it, u can repeat the same step if u not like the color.
This is a bit odd, because once they have changed an object file, it usually changes it for all iterations of that object. For example, they changed the style of some jeans to make them not tight at the ankle in one of the updates last year, and all my R* footage changed that jeans model to the new one, even on old footage. This would suggest they have made the car available at Simeon's a different model, or have applied an invisible modification to it maybe? If that's true, this is a low move by R*, especially after nerfing the ability to sell unwanted vehicles.
I've never thought it that way. But it seems to me like they did a similar thing of the Dubsta and the so called Dubsta 2. Two cars that are effectively the same but with a slight difference to make it rarer

To add it intentionally as an invisible and un-gettable modification, only available for one week at Simeon's, seems like they're trolling us... a scam money-grab. Bruuuh. After restarting my game the front light bar doesn't work anymore. I didn't install the Imani Tech so it wasn't that (I'm on PC). The car is still broken, R* is absolutely fried. If this happens to you don't forget to open a support ticket to get all your money back
Warning for PC platform: I bought my 2nd Penaud from Premium Deluxe Motorsport for the front pulsing light last time. Then somehow the front pulsing light is gone now. Money wasted.
I had 3 as well, 2 without the front light bar and 1 with it. I ended up selling the other two after they nerfed the car and made it where it can't take more than 1 mission to destroy. No point in having them now.

11:05 This reminds me of buying some five Karin Sultans including the bought off the floor RS and the Benny's flipped RS. when just trying to get a Sultan to show in the Auto Shop's list of Bank Heists Tuners Cars. The Karin Sultan is never listed as a choice even though it is listed as a Tuners Car. I have seen others mention this in chat and seen people reply with, "you bought the wrong Sultan." This is wrong. It is a glitch. They listed it wrong to sell as a Tuners vehicle or they neglected to place it into the robberies list of get-a-way Tuners cars. It's broken and that's a shame because it would be a good car to use.

I have just seen the original video (the guy showing it before the car got released), and he mentions in the comments that the color is based on the accent/dashboard. But normaly we can't change it since its only available for custom cars at Benny's.

I finally got around to testing it myself more. I must have had gta+ on ps5 around or near the time the la coureuse came out because I have 1 each on both my characters free from the vinewood car club, and there is no front light bar on this free version. But if you buy it at simeon's or the vinewood car club (at a discount) apparently there is. So even with gta+ if you got it for free either from the car club or website you have no light bar. But if you pay you get the working lightbar 😄

I think rockstar should have the accent color option on this car so u can just change the light color to whatever you want like when car came out until chop shop update the white fukaru sun strip gave the car extreme armor but Rockstar removed this on chop shop update . Just so many things that could be done much better i cannot wait to see gta6 but i guarantee it will be same alota issues and problems constantly
There's lots of cars with specific aesthetics depending on where you get them, liveries on podium or prize rides, or painted stock wheels. I have 2 BF Clubs, one of which was won on the casino wheel and that one doesn't have the front lip.
If it's any consolation, I just spent $7M buying and upgrading three of 'em ... One black, one crew colours, and one reversed crew colours. Thanks for this - it's a fun little car. As you said, it's like driving a go cart. :D

I had 2-3 stock cars and I merged them, after merging, all 3 had the flashing front light. I'm sorry to break it to you, but the flashing light bar can be obtained by merging the car. Also, this is a HAO'S car, you can upgrade it at the LSCM. Keep up the good work. I like your content! Cheers,

While still good, this was the best vehicle in the game before the update. Rockstar messed up the garage menu for it, which is why the lightbar is busted, and the imani tech armor used to be hidden behind the sunstrip. Then they did the update, and instead of fixing either, they just removed the imani tech armor altogether but left the damn lightbar broken. This is why GTA 6 is going to be a mess. Same company, same half assed development.
Appreciate you wasting all that money for our benefit... I have been wanting to get one so I'll be heading over to Simeon's when I get home here shortly...
Might as well sell the other and keep this one. Just remember that R* makes the sale value less than it would normally be if you try to sell more than one car within a day.

Do not do this. It doesn’t matter where you get it from, the light bar stops working again eventually. It’s bugged and the car is still broken.
The trim color probably changes it. On all the arena war future shock vehicles the lights are changed with the trim color

While still good, this was the best vehicle in the game before the update. Rockstar messed up the garage menu for it, which is why the lightbar is busted, and the imani tech armor used to be hidden behind the sunstrip.
Then they did the update, and instead of fixing either, they just removed the imani tech armor altogether but left the damn lightbar broken. This is why GTA 6 is going to be a mess. Same company, same half assed development.

Might as well sell the other and keep this one. Just remember that R* makes the sale value less than it would normally be if you try to sell more than one car within a day.

I wonder is the application of a missile lock on jammer at the agency a reason why the light bar stops working? Probably not but the thought just crossed my mind.
It stopped working for me after some modifications at the auto shop.
The light bar color is on the accent color I believe
Literally all you have to do is merge the car and the front light bar will blink too just like the back
