- I've been waking up at 5am for two weeks for 5AM February and here's what's changed! I'm shocked at the differences I've noticed since the very first vlog I posted on Day 1 of 5AM February. It hasn't been easy, but the bigger question is it at least worth it in the end after all my efforts. Chatting about that and then sharing tips on how to finish out the 5AM February challenge strong! The point is starting your day with you, for you and no one else. Prioritize yourself. Not necessarily at 5 a.m. it could be at 7 or 10..depending on your schedule

As a Muslim there is the morning prayers called fajr.and it’s from 5:00 till just before sunrise.the reward of waking up to pray is like being given the whole world and whatever is in it.😊and still most guys never wake up to pray.that just shows how the devil is working hard for u to not succeed in this life and hereafter.

girl, im glad you are doing well. when i get up at 5 am the first thing i will do is meditation. literally just sit on the floor & think, close your eyes. next is yoga!! after yoga thats when i start my actual morning routine ie getting ready for work..😂
been doing this for the past 3 years & i feel great & more alert!

Where motivation lacks, consistency follows. I absolutely love your videos. I’m so happy I found your page. I used to wake up at 4 and enjoyed it. However I did fall off and found myself asking “why am I waking up this early” when my alarm would go off now. After your video it all makes sense again. Your morning routine just flows. My why is for that baddie who just wants more out of life more of a umph. Your wording gave me life. Thank you boo ! 💜💜💜💜

I really enjoyed the 5am challenge in the beginning and want to adopt it for every season except Summer. Unfortunately was thrown off for this month because of my new downstairs neighbor. It's just impossible for me to even enjoy my home, let alone my mornings anymore, so I am working on moving and finally starting 5AMs. It's good to see you flourishing with it! That's the motivation I need. And I'm glad to see you in a good place after the rough time you had last year.
I can't totally relate to ur story... 4months ago I also had a new downstairs neighbor that threw me off my routines and made it hard for me to enjoy my home... I can TOTALLY relate... but luckily my lease was expiring in 2 months and I left... I was gonna leave anyway as I wanted a bigger space...
Now I can do a morning routine that I want but my problem is I can't do it everyday :(... I get it right about twice a week :(
@@zamakhumalo6072 oh I'm glad you got out of that situation. I'm unfortunately still stuck with my neighbor. The rental market is so bad in my area, I can't find anything. But I got her in trouble so she's calmed down on disrupting me. I'm able to do my routine now.
But you're right, it is so hard to wake up at 5am everyday, let alone 30 mins before work lol. Bria has a 5AM group chat and it was helpful to have so many people blowing up our phones first thing in the morning in Feb and giving daily tips, but it was still challenging if you don't have an accountability partner. Like I would say hi or talk in the group but I was ignored for the most part so I felt very alone. No one would reply to my posts or anything. So I'd suggest if you have any close friends, partner or siblings, try to have them join you in the challenge so you can wake each other up or talk to/text each other first thing in the morning to help you feel motivated. If all else fails. Go to sleep late one night so you can begin to force yourself to sleep early the next day and start forming the habit of sleeping early and it will start to get easier for you. I have sleepytime tea and morning wake up tea that really gets me up.
So nice to hear someone talk about PMDD. People are very uneducated about it, and you just made my day mentioning it!

Another tip don't put your alarm next to your bed... make it that you have to get up to turn it off.

I love the raw Honesty in this video I’ve been really going through things feeling unmotivated and this video just popped up on my page I think your video was exactly what I needed honestly you are doing great this video is very inspirational
I recently adopted this practice as well (not working out but getting up at 5am). 5am is definitely TOUGH to say it lightly. I discussed this on my channel and talked about how much it impacted my productivity. I found it much easier to find that focus time to do my passion projects and still have that work and family time.
This is actually true, I wake up at 5am 3 days out of the week and it’s amazing how by 8am I have gotten quite a number of things done.
@@abiolamakay I can almost get a full days worth of work done in a couple of hours in the morning because it is so quiet and there are no distractions.

It’s crazy I’m coming across this, I just started getting up at 5am this week and today(day 5), I woke up at 4:59 with no alarm. Being in the military did make it a little easier for me because I’ve always got up ‘early ‘ It hits different when you do it for YOU

Just found you and I LOVE your videos, this is the level of realness I needed. Very valid point on the night routine and using sleep as a reward, being a mom that 100% is my reward but also fell into a bad habit of it always being a reward since the pandemmy. But I'ma start at 6 first and see how that goes lol.
Also eating an apple in the morning if you don’t like caffeine actually helps a ton with waking up 💜

I use to be a morning person and wake up ready to take on the day. But over the past year and half I've been waking up feeling blah. I go to sleep at 9:30/10:30pm. Usually wake up naturally between 5:30 and 6:30.
But I feel blah and unmotivated. I'm sure it has to do with life changes and age. I'm 40 now. I have PCOS, hypothyroid, and after looking up PMDD I definitely have that. 🤯 I just thought I was going crazy. Lol! All of those affect mood and energy.
This morning I woke up feeling good. Taking a hot bath now. I love how you said "you gotta take care of your girl and your girl is you." ❤️🙌

i set my alarm for 4:30 am so that even when i snooze ill still be up at 5 am. meditate then study until 7 am . i want to incorporate a work out though. but i have to say what i love about the 5AC is that you have longer days and surprisingly youre energised the whole day , i dont take naps during the day

I have been setting my alarm for 5 am everyday even if I hit the snooze (it’s a start) but I am really trying to apply this to my everyday life. I have been getting in the bed no later than 9pm. Getting up at 5 am is a challenge but I’m going to achieve it!!!

Watched this while I cleaned and it keep me focused on the task at hand. I don't work until 3pm so I normally don't wake up until 9am. 5am might be too early for me but I can start with 7 and yes the snooze button has got me so many times

This is super motivating! I work second shift and don't get off until 11pm, so I'd definitely have to adjust the wake up time until like 8am.

I’ve been doing it but won’t lie I fell off the last week but tomorrow I’m trying again 😩 my life is so unpredictable but still no excuse. I’ve been snoozing my alarms , staying up way too late and honestly I do this all the time I get on a good routine then mess up then beat myself up then fall in a funk but this time around I’m not going to do that and then look back three months from now like well that’s where you gave up instead I wanna be like that’s when you picked yourself back up and put you first baby girl 🙌🏼 so thanks for sharing your tips going to try to implement them as I start back up 🙌🏼

Honestly your tips were so helpful! My fatal flaw is having my alarm right next to me but it’s because I feel I won’t hear it with it being too far since I’m such a heavy sleeper. 😭 I really want to have slower mornings and I’ve been wanting to create a good night routine for myself because same as you I hate feeling rushed through my day or feeling like I could’ve done so much more. I may not do the 5 am just yet but one of my goals this year is waking up at 7 am everyday and creating routines for myself.

Came for the morning routine, stayed for the hydration ASMR haha it reminded me to drink water
i tried waking up at 5am and my body was not having it. so i decided 6am may be what's best for me.
so far i have gotten sooo much stuff done in the morning before i head out for work, so by the time i come home i can just chill for the evening with very much little stuff to do.
