Cuz i feel like when i see fashion/fashion runway shows which is pretty often i think - i see afew yt shorts of fashion/runway/models like every other day n feel like what theyre wearing is unique ( of course) and like 30% of the time its also beautiful and elegant .... idk its just, when I hear/see someone using the word " refreshing" i think of whatever theyre calling refreshing is something that doesnt happen super often and more of a rarity when imo i feel like its not that rare to see elegant/beautiful high fashion maybe i dont know fashion

​@@ayajade6683do you even watch fashion shows? lol. obviously more recent runway fashion is way more unconventional but the type of fashion you just described is like 5% of all fashion shows. just a few specific designers do the type of look your describing, it just feels like there's more of it because you only see the sensationalized fashion that clearly is only posted on social media to get some kind of negative reactions out of locals who don't understand the concept of runway fashion or that think fashion is supposed to always be conventionally beautiful. I'm not saying the ones that are actually money laundry don't exist, they're just not as common as you stated in your comment

This was exactly my thought the women picked for specific colors was perfect with the models complexion. Before the models popped up I just knew that if she had black models in her show that they would be wearing purple or green dresses and I was completely right. She was very intentional on which model brought out the best of each dress. I loved that

When I read about Zuhair Murad and Ellie Saab and found out both are Lebanese, I checked Lebanese dresses and I was in awe of how beautiful Lebanese white dresses are. I mean I used to binge watch Say Yes to the Dress and those dresses were nothing compared to the Lebanese dresses I saw (I checked Lebanese brides on TH-cam so I got many wedding videos of actual brides). In my country we do heavy embroidery so it wasn't unusual for me but since we wear different type of dress and colorful dress and I had seen white dress mainly in movies so I was really mesmerized by them and wondered why are the US ppl or British pol not wearing dresses like these
