I'm happy Iggy Azalea is rapping, since she is inspiring girls from any race to purse a career in rap. Rap isn't only for one race. That's a good thing since if anyone wants to be a rapper, they shouldn't be intimidated to do so. I've heard Iggy Azalea doesn't write her own songs, and T.I does which is confirmed to be true, so I get why many people don't like that because rap is supposed to be poetry. It supposed to tell a story, and most rappers write their lyrics. But it doesn't mean Iggy is any less of a rapper, it just that it would be better if she wrote her own lyrics so that she and others can connect to the song emotionally. I feel like Iggy coming into the rap genre, has changed rap a bit especially for women rappers since Iggy raps with pop artists and her rapping is more commercial instead or ghetto and raw. But it doesn't mean she should get all this hate.
