that run was really good the timeloss during riccardo's part was unfortunate though also, i find it strange that riccardo took longer to show up during the tower, after the blue spheres, he usually shows up right after them also surprised that Hewie attacked before the last command during riccardo fight, not too sure what happened there
yeah there are many parts in the run where rng can screw you over. That Riccardo thing is also part of that rng. Fun fact: sometimes he don't show up at all in that part.
Couldn't you potentially save time by picking some Magnesia that are on your way and using them on Lorenzo? Just the weakest Magnesia does like 15 times more damage than a kick, that could save a few seconds from the Lorenzo battle. Or Burst Shoes, if you're lucky and get an explosive kick, that's more damage than anything else on the game, but it wouldn't be reliable...
You could pick refined magnesia on the way and use that, but probably even that is not worth of getting. In the end of the day damage is't that impactful and the dog does most of the damage in the fight. I tested burst shoes couple of times and I think that they are not worth getting: There is a decent change you don't get any criticals during the fight. With good luck you get about 2-3 criticals.
These have got to be really difficult speedruns to pull off. Not for dealing with the stalkers - when you run the game this fast, there's no random aspect to their appearances, only scripted points, and you can have an optimized plan for every time they show up. But you don't have any time to train Hewie, so I imagine that a lot of the puzzles end up being random factors. It'd suck to be doing great for time on one run and then have Hewie derp out on the Planetarium, for example. Well done on having the patience to really refine your craft here.
Solid run, loved it.
She's A Runner, Shes a Track Star
Dude imagine dying and having to start all over cause there’s no checkpoints
Well, it takes like 1 hour, so
Splendid, i enjoyed this! :)

ah i see !
honestly i've always had Riccardo right after the blue sheres, i guess not having him show up right after is very rare ?
Thanks for help me finish this game. :)
Nice work, you're on a roll 😎
That forest is cost of the run...

Yeah, this game has a lots of rng like you outlined. People who don't run or play this game probably never realize all these things.
Why do you free the blue spheres in 53:28? And Why lorenzo dont show up after this? Its a glitch? Doesnt it count as glitch in a no glitch run?
Yup, that's the trigger to activate the glitch, should've said this is a glitched run
