I'm in the market for a new thin line. The ex-ss and the eastman el rey are on my short list. I don't live in an area where it's very easy to get my hands on either of them to try before I buy. I've noticed you own the el rey. What is your opinion between the two? I'm into jazz, fusion, and some blues. Thanks for the vids!
trionott Really hard choice you can't go wrong either way. The El Rey probably produces more of a traditional archtop tone. The SS can produce a great jazz tone as well but tends to sound less like an archtop than the El Rey.
Nice and smooth...
Brotha, I dig you're playing! Been thinking about getting this guitar. So Wes sounding.
Thanks for this great post. Nice chops.
Please count the CB tab requests in the comments.
Damn! Great Playing really shows what this guitar can do. Now I got to save a few hundred more to get this instead of a godin box.
ayn randy I was thinking of the godin . But this is great value for the money and it looks great
Definitely get the Dangelico! Better than the Godin to be honest both sonically and aesthetically
Smile man - it's not the end of the earth. Well, not yet it ain't.

Hmmm...I wonder if you're a fan of Wes??? :-)

Great playing, and that Wes sound... oh my! Didn't like the guitar.
