We had a guest leave a 3 star rating for value because we had a temporary mini fridge after the regular one broke down and we were waiting for the new one to be delivered. A message to potential guests, we can only go as fast as the car in front of us (that's what I always "tell" people that are riding my bumper in traffic, lol.) Please let us know in a private note before leaving something like this in a review. It can help us improve the experience for you next time (though we may not trust you next time,) and it will enhance the expectations of the next guests. Thank you!
Dave, thanks for the great and entertaining video! New subscriber here = )

Going keyless is the key to solving Thing #1. I recommend a Schlage door handle and keypad combo (that has a physical key too as a backup).

A host here.....love the balanced coverage both from host and guest perspective. Subscribing for sure future content.

Great video, I have mixed feelings with so many host recommending lables for all the cabinets: to me it's like a note saying "it goes here" - if I can afford to be a guest I can probably figure out where it is and where it goes.

We just opened up our trailer and got 2 renters already. I only charge $20 for cleaning fee because its not a too big and I will be cleaning it. I think the small cleaning fee helped me get renters fast. I asked a cleaning person how much they charge to clean Airbnb and she said $145!!

Thank you for creating this video. I’m almost starting our vacation rental and trying to be as smart about it as possible.

I charge a cleaning fee. I only ask guests to take out the trash.

How would you send the video to the keys to the apartment? Would you save it into Google Drive, for example, and send the guest link? Or send video through conversation with the guest on Airbnb?

Hi Andrew we actually upload the video to TH-cam and make it unlisted so only people with the link can see it. But yes, Google Drive would work just as well.

@@davecordnerairbnbcoach But wouldn't airbnb block the link because it's a web address to an external site? Love your content btw.

@andrewquach8 we send the link via text message or WhatsApp 👍
