You can actually cheese the flower quest really easily. Set a dream gate at the flower quest start, DON’T get the flower yet, bench at queen’s gardens stag station, then dream gate back, grab the flower, save quit, then make your way to the grave with little difficulty. If you fuck that up, then you just have my skill.

I'm going to try to catch you in-stream, but I have a meme run proposition. Minimum Nail Run The rules are simple: you're trying to beat the game (any ending) with as few nail hits as possible. Nail hits are any time your nail deals damage to an enemy - this includes pogo-ing off enemies but does not count hitting walls, opening chests, pogo-ing off spikes/goams, or freeing grubs. The theoretical minimum I believe is ~64: 30 for dreamers, 13 for phase one of False Knight if done with Fury of the Fallen, 2 for the first wave in the locked room in Forgotten Crossroads if done with Fury of the Fallen (you have to double stalactite the second wave to get no hits), 3 to regain soul to shoot the baldur at Vengeful Spirit, ~15 to regain soul to Vengeful Spirit the big mushroom bois that give a charm notch since you have to take the low% route at the beginning. I think it would be fun because, on top of it becoming dodging simulator after a certain point, it has a bunch of additional difficulties for rerouting. The most obvious is needing 10 grubs for Grubsong and needing to do Weaversong blind [Yay!], but less obvious is things like benching in Mound after escaping False Knight so you can damage tank through pill bug and needing to retain full soul from the Forgotten Crossroads Hot Spring to Queen's Station so it's possible to do the triple fireball skip there. If you didn't want to speedrun it, you could even go back after getting Grubsong, Weaversong, and Shopkeeper's Key [Sprintmaster] to beat Hornet 1 for Dash. I'm struggling through it for fun right now. I'm currently trying to get Lantern-less Weaversong. RIP.
Seems like an interesting challenge , altho the minimum is prob godhome ending , since you only have 1 guarenteed nail hit against ABS rad, instead of the 30 for dreamers
While I was watching this I thought about an odd restriction. How much of the map can you go through without any keys? You can access City of Tears easily from the east side, you can use a skip to enter the sewers (though I doubt you could reach very far behind a lever). The only inaccessible areas I can think of are the collector's tower and godhome.
On current patch you can't get to shade soul I believe. It also depends on whether you count anything that opens an area (King's brand comes to mind) as a key
@@Funrmunt "Key" in this case would be anything that has the word key, or acts as a physical key. King's Brand wouldn't count, it allows passage into a protected area, doesn't really physically unlock the place.

I did the second trail at the Coliseum with channelled nail and no howling wraiths. Just regular old vengeful spirit and the dive. All because I didn't know how to get the other stuff.

I love hiveblood. It's really good for bosses. If you can dodge bosses for 10 seconds after a hit it negates all damage or halves it

@@Funrmunt "Key" in this case would be anything that has the word key, or acts as a physical key. King's Brand wouldn't count, it allows passage into a protected area, doesn't really physically unlock the place.

I did the second trail at the Coliseum with channelled nail and no howling wraiths. Just regular old vengeful spirit and the dive. All because I didn't know how to get the other stuff.
