Making Art with Coffee

Extremely excited to show you my new piece, ‘Sunrise’ made of… guess what? Coffee grounds!
With the leftover coffee grounds of my Limited Edition La Cumplida Refinada coffee,I created an image of a sunrise, the most important time of the day for us all, and of course, also for the farmers from Nicaragua who harvested the La Cumplida Refinada coffee.
A cup of coffee in the morning also instantly kickstarts the entire day for me. For most people, the day only begins once a cup of coffee is brewed and sipped. I am always driven to use unconventional materials and techniques for my artwork because the results can really amaze you. And especially for this one, I was pleasantly surprised by the distinct fruity aroma in the air while creating it.
