New to your channel. Have you done a house tour showing how you organize your home with such a large family? Like linens and pantry and laundry and toys?! I cannot wrap my head around it unless you have a really really big house I guess. Thanks.
I remember watching this many years ago. I'm rewatching it. I really like the idea of people all picking when suits them and changing it all around to fit with everyone's schedule instead of you having to try and guess what suits who.

Do you miss your kids while they are at school? I can picture you missing your kids. Your teaching them responsibility and that is important. We all have responsibilities.I think its Great your so organized I'm sure its a lot easier with a big family.

Hi there! We are new to large family life, we have recently added 6 kids to our four biological children and I don't have a lot of time to think ;-0 Would you be willing to share the roster & definitions? I would love to "copy&paste" till we find our own rhythm!
What jobs do your children do? At the moment only 4 of our 8 do jobs each night. I pair up 2 each night. 1 pair does dishes, the other wipes benches/sweeps. That’s all they have.... 😩👎 I still do rooms, vacuum, mop, do all the washing, cook.. everything.
The Bonell Family thank you! I went and searched for you on fb and found the post. It is extremely helpful. Most generic chore charts don’t fit more than 4 kids, if you’re lucky lol. I can relate on a smaller scale to the colour coordination. I do the same 😂
All kids need to learn how to do all jobs. I was one of three children. I learned how to set out the trash, feed the animals, mow the yard. I didn't cook much but watched while my mom did the cooking. I washed dishes, washed clothes and hung them on the line and brought them in when dry, learned how to grow stuff in a vegetable garden and take care of fruit trees. Learned how to blanch food from the garden to freeze. Never did canning but watched my mom do it.
What jobs do they do? Does 1 child do the washing up and the drying up or does one child do washing up and another child do the drying up? We really need to do a chore roster here , at the moment the kids don't really do anything, its left all to me and we have 5 kids at home. Are you and your husband on the roster too or just the kids?
"Mum and Dad" are not on that roster but we help with all the jobs. And if 2 kids are on 1 job, it's up to them as to how they spilt the job between them. Teaches negotiation and communication between them.
Little ones can do lots of jobs to help - they could put toys away, straighten cushions on the lounge chairs, take towels/clothes from bathroom to the laundry, dry cutlery after washing up, help mum water the pot plants. Just make it fun and they will have a go at almost any little job you can think of ;-)
Giving children jobs will teach them to be good worker. I appreciate you a lot.

I do miss them but I have so much to do that the days pass very quickly. i blink and it's school pick up time again :-)
