When I was first baptized at the age of fifty I let the pastor of the SDA church know I would like to be baptized and I would like to be baptized in the river not a hot tub in the church. It was in the fall of the year and the first response from the pastor was well if you can stand it I guess I can to. No response to my desire to be baptized at all just that if I could stand the cold water he guessed he could also. I was a little amazed that he said nothing about my desire to be baptized. I left the SDA church a few years ago as I figured out how much they are into all the pagan ways and teachings. It is really sad.

Baptism doesn’t save a person. But if they want the cold water that’s their decision. It’s relationship with and acceptance of Christ that saves a person. Baptism is the outward sign of your acceptance.
Baptism can wait till warmer weather, The person is saved ! Why risk someone getting sick and dying from the cold weather! If they did die before baptism they will go to heaven !
