Yours is by far the most thorough coverage on Chinch big control. It would be nice to find something also on when to start preventative treatment but I think there is enough here to figure that out. THANK YOU!
Fantastic, thanks for the video Chad! Ive gone through some of these products reading online on domyown, and sometimes it just information overload or I forget what I was looking at before. I use the Bifen liquid for pest control around the house as well, works great. I have also used the Bifen granular and it did alright, but it does say it only lasts a few months and thats for sure true. Not a very long residual. Ended up with sod webworms later that season. Keep up the great work! Also great note on switching out. Not something many people know or find out. The liquid Bifen I use for general pest control as a perimeter treatment is swapped out with Temprid so it minimizes the bugs chances to build immunity.
I'm glad this could help!! Sounds like you have a pretty handle on using these. Like you said, the labels can be confusing. I'm happy this video will help. Please consider using my affiliate link in the description for domyown to help support the channel!!
@@bettercallchadd so should I keep using the granuels? They seem to be working good. Or should I switch to liquid instead? Only reason I bought the granuels is because I have a huge yard infested with chinch bugs.
What's the best product to use for lawns that are going to have dogs walking on them? I know the general rule to keep pets and people off until the product is dry, but pesticides make me nervous.
Marathoin is only effective for pests that damage your shrubs. It would not be effective for lawn pest. Also you have to be very careful using oil based products in the summer. They can attract a lot of heat and burn shrubs.
I'm not understanding why you're giving us products to use that you claim are not that effective. I also don't understand how your name could be Turf Organics and then you use poisons which affect pollinators the word organic and poison doesn't seem to fit together
All the products I recommend do work. You just didn't watch the video. Also, I'm teaching people how to use products effectively and properly. People are going to use chemicals. It's better to teach the right way than have people overuse. We offer a organic lawn service in the Jacksonville/ St.augustine area.

Glad you’re back at the videos. Awesome info
Me too!! Thanks for the support!!
Thanks for the explanation, have a great weekend chadd.
Thanks for the support. You do the same!!
Bifen is an unbelievable product! I treat my yard with this using a Stihl backpack fogger/blower. Great results
Using it in a fogger is a very effective way to treat a lot of pests!! Nice job using good equipment for effective results.
Great info. Will add chinch bug infestations many times will start along concrete because of the heat. Of course not always.
Thank you!!
Yes, chinch bugs love stressed grass. So problem areas are more likely to get chinch bugs.
man your videos are great..thanks so much
No problem. Thanks for the support.
Super concise info, well done!
Thanks for your videos Chad. I need to get your advice on my lawn

THANK YOU!
Thank you. I really appreciate that. Prevention is tougher for a home owner but not impossible. I'll make a video for prevention in the future.
hmm "chinch bugs have a sucking poisonous mouth part" sounds like my ex
We might have the same ex!!☠️

Where you buy triple crown
Just used bifen granuals Amazing product.
Granulers are not as effective as liquids, but they can work. Also, you do want to switch up what you use.

All those will be about the same. I would recommend staying off for a 2 to 4 days after to be safe.
Very educated video. Just subscribe
We have them in our house, we don't have grass. I have been spraying over the 2 weeks, and they keep coming and coming? What do I use in a house
You don't have chinch bugs in your house. They are definitely another bug that looks similar. You can spray bifen around the outside of your home.
I looks like you made mistake. You have the same ratio for Bifen I/T and Bifen XTS. Is it right?
I might have. Let me look into that. Thanks for letting me know.
17ml is confusing you have to stick with oz. 15ml is 0.5 oz so 17 ml is slightly above 0.5 oz.
will any of these chemicals harm my chickens? or dog
Dog is safe after you water in. If the chickens are eating the grass, they need to stay off for the 30 days.
I didn't see you mention malathion, is that useful for treating the bugs to?

@@bettercallchadd thank you👏
@@dedrickcox1468 no problem.
@@bettercallchadd Great video. Question. If I remove my eaten up lawn and apply new sod, do I need to spray lawn first before installing new sod?
@@lightworker4512 yess!!! Chinch bugs must be gone before adding new sod.
