- Hey guys my name is Ben and welcome back to another video. Today I met up with my friend Erik to check out his new A35 AMG. This is a little pocket rocket of a car, that I absolutely love.

Even on my A45 PFL I have to tell anybody shutting the boot to please do it softly otherwise the spoiler rattles and makes you cringe a little inside, hopefully yours doesn't come loose overtime like mine has! Its only a bolt and nut to be tightened beneath the boot plastic lining but still a pain to do so which I haven't bothered myself to do.
A great review of the baby AMG, I agree you cannot not spec the car without the aero pack! Keep those wheels away from curbs and potholes Lol.

How does your exhaust sound like that when you rev? Are you holding the paddle down when you rev?

What phone holder are you using?
I've just bought one. Get it next week. However, I'm 50 so I decided not to go for any packs. Plus, it's already quite expensive for me! I used to own a Honda Integra Type R and an S2000 before I changed job (and earned more money). Anyway, looking forward to trying it out.

The spoiler on the back is indeed abit weard when you close the booth but seems all of them have that mine is doing the same and garage said its like this with all :), Could you tell me what Phone holder he is using as i cant find anything that works.

Another thing to touch upon, you mentioned you put V-power in just for the video, Does the A35 not recommend 98 and higher on the fuel cap like the A45 does?

They're even worse here in Mansfield. I own a titan silver Z4 3.0i manual wearing 108's. It thrives on smooth roads, but you may as well be on a farm track rather than the roads round here.

Yeah didn’t think the stock exhaust had the pops and bangs on start up and when revving?!
If u pull one pedal shifter when starting up, it starts in sport mode ;-) Thank me later

Pete Taylor kinda agree and disagree. Pcp route for me but you omitted the final payment there and you’ll easily lose 10-12k by time your at 4 yr

Please can you let me know about fuel consumption? I’m planning on getting an A35, but I’m just concerned about fuel economy? E.g. MPG on eco driving and stuff
Hi there, 32.5 mpg. Driving Modes: Comfort, Individual, Slippery. Sports & Sports+ -NO 'ECO'.
TBH, I interchange between driving modes regularly but coming from an A180, then A200 now A35, I'd say the consumption is quite good: haven't found significant difference. Sports+ with harsh acceleration is where the true burn (£) is, but I love it all the same. Currently wouldn't change it for the world. I LOVE IT!

Paying a ton of money for luxury as well. Expensive for A class. Majority of competitive hatchback makers aren't in the market for that. It is what it is of course.
Your looking for a £40,000 four wheel drive premium hot hatchback your choices are A35, S3, Golf r and m135i they are all pretty much the same thing as 90% of drivers will never push their cars to their limits so it has to be down to a person's personal choice
