    It was fun seeing all of your great grandma's stitched pieces and your early ones. The hummingbird is finished so creatively. I had no idea Virginia creeper vines could dry like that! We have a ton of it around here! I'm so sorry you have poison ivy. I hope it clears up quickly, also with your arthritis. Have a wonderful time in NY and a happy Independence Day.

      Thank you so much! I was looking around on Pinterest and saw Virginia creeper could be used, and I was surprised as well. Much easier to use than taking the thorns off of blackcap vines, so it was perfect! Thank you so much, and I hope you have a great holiday too!

      ​@@LadybugStitchesI heard you talking about blackcaps and didn't know what they were. I had to look them up. 😄 I guess most delicious berries come from the prickliest vines!

      I think they might also be called black raspberries? They grow wild here and are so yummy!
