it's just six notes and yet it is so calming
the droning in the back follows it's own progression creating different harmonies with the main six notes every time. All those sounds feel ambient yet they have distinct pitch.

I wish we could have fought one of those mining robots for the crystal heart instead of the lame crystal guardian.
this is not the actual in game main. the one that plays throughout most of crystal peak should be called main. and it can be easily recorded, too, because you can turn off all sound accept music in this game. and for if you don't know what i'm talking about, it's like the beat thingy on from the official soundtrack in crystal peak, but with the calm version (this). please upload it. it's not on the soundtrack, and it's not on youtube. it's easy to do so please do it.

I am not recording any of this ingame fyi, I am editing them together from game files. I am going to do combined tracks (main+bass/action) soon, just currently very busy at work. Please bear with me.

and thanks for doing your best, but just so you know, the version i'm looking for is main and what is referred to as bass (the first link)
action is already mixed with main, but I suppose it would be a nice experiment to put it together with every other version.
also, when this gets uploaded, please also upload a short version. when i'm doing homework or other boring stuff, I like to listen to a playlist where I pile music into. 16 minutes don't really work well with a playlist.
finally, the reason I referred to the version i'm looking for as main is because it acts like it ingame. although the gamefiles don't call it that, it acts like it in the way main acts in other areas. main is basically comparable to the calm versions of other music, the version I want is comparable to the main in other areas, and action is comparable to action. since the version i'm looking for is comparable to other mains, and it played in most of crystal peak, to me, it's like main.
or I guess the game files calls calm music that plays only in a few areas main in a few more areas...
well, I think you still get what I mean. for me, main is the main theme that plays in most of the area.
I think the reason it's called main in the game files is because everything else in layered on top. seems logical to me
