Using this tutorial, I designed and constructed several liners for wire baskets. Was completely stumped about the order to sew things in until I watched this video. Thank you!
Lori Tolbert ...in hindsight..you can acctually sew all 4 panels together in a continuous loop..then sew on bottom plate..just start your stitching a few inches after the corner..it will make the turn on the last corner more manageable
I subscribe to quite a few sewing channels but for this kind of construction no -one beats Sailrite. (Your box cushion video was a little masterpiece.) I've just managed to line 3 wicker baskets on the first attempt using your instructions. So huge thanks from this happy viewer.
Once again, I’m looking for guidance for a project and there’s Sailrite to my rescue! My liners turned out great and my husband teases me that I’m getting as good as Angela on our boat projects! Lol!
Hi Randy, We used a Decor and Upholstery fabric from this link. www.sailrite.com/Fabrics/Home-Fabric/Decor-and-Upholstery-Fabric/Home-Use/D%C3%A9cor--AND--Upholstery/type/Products?order=custitem_popularity You could use both indoor/outdoor if you wanted, I believe ours was an indoor fabric.
I need to recover a sewing chair. It has a hinged lid, cushioned seat and storage. I know how to cover the cushion. The box part is shaped similar to this basket. I want the fabric to completely cover the inside and outside of the box and wrap around to the bottom. Can you tell me how to measure to achieve this?

Great job! Angela, you made it look easy! Unfortunately, my machine would never handle those fabrics.
Greatest tutorial video ever
Thank you for this great tutorial!
This is great thank you! Would it be a good idea to add the hem before sewing the panels together?
very helpful thanks
Thanks, I have learned some new stuff.
Excellent instructions
I need ideas to do this without the fold over. I need ideas on how to attach to basket without being able to see it's attachment.
What type of fabric was used here? Indoor/outdoor, etc.?

Is that thin towel material ?
No, it is a decorative fabric that is no longer made.
amazing, great job
How do you calculate for a round basket?
good
Why are you calling them 'plates' and not 'panels'?
👍👍👍🙏
Too much info and too fast for a beginner. I got lost in the middle.
Great thing about video, can go back multiple times. I know I must do that to learn new things. Good luck and enjoy!
