I’ve read about this discussion before, apparently the issue that caused the switch was an actual event related to Boston bombing’s during those weeks. Otherwise it doesn’t really make sense.

Castle not being patient was the only reason it didn't happen. Doctor motorcycle boy was Kate's way of dealing with Castle hooking back up with his ex Gina at the end of season 2. Not to get back at Castle, but deciding she didn't want to be alone. When Castle broke things off with Gina, Kate's look isn't one of oops I shouldn't have heard that, but one of maybe I have a chance. In Countdown at the end, it's obvious the way she feels for Castle. She may be in Josh's arms, but her eyes are for Castle only.
Each "Moments Of" segment you produce, I have to adjust which season was the best. Thanks to you I have it figured. There is no "best" when they are all so great. How did this show NOT receive a million more awards. Stanic's face expressions alone should get it's own award!
Its funny, the more I see episodes of this series, the more I realize how good it was, and want to rewatch. Its really too bad that the two couldn't get along, but they sure acted amazing.
I think Kate Beckett and Richard Castle are just like the power rangers in their relationship but this time it's NYPD version. They even created team name (Caskett) and they will never give up and keep fighting together due to drawing power from each other and kiss scenes and they focus is Family and work

I love the qualities of seasons 3,4,5,6,and of course 1. They all were awesome seasons of an amazing drama/comedy.
Season 7 was great to. They should have ended the show in the 7 season finale
