Just had to say, I made the most amazing raised vegetable bed today with cinder blocks. I plan to try to stencil some for flowers later, just thought when I saw them on this video, why not try them for veggies this year. I love it. The openings are just the right size for little starter veggie plants and herbs, And they will last forever! Thanks so much!
Oh, my gosh! This was amazing! I will never complain about retail plant pricing again - although I will always support the local farmers first... ;) Thank you for this fabulous tour.
AMAZING video!! Thank you for bringing us into this awesome Four Star Greenhouse! You have allowed us viewers into places where it would be impossible for us to even step foot in. Laura and Aaron, you guys are so inspirational and real! Genuine to the core!
AMAZING Largest greenhouse I have ever seen! Understand now why some plants are a little costly and worth it. Thanks for tour. Can't wait to see your presentation and all the other stuff that I know you will include. You have a GREAT SUPPORTIVE HUBBY
So very interesting to see the "sticking" portion Laura. Thank you for the inside view of one of these facilities. Love the cinder block painting, very cute. 🌾Be Blessed ღ 🌿
I used to run a greenhouse, this brings back wonderful memories. I live across the border from Detroit in Windsor. Great video! I sure to miss the production greenhouse. I still have one 40x70 one left to play in.
Nice zen lines on the cinder blocks as well as the creative use...that was a huge green house! and awesome garden...yes, 60's in the west and I will have to vent my GH for the first time this season...I liked both your enthusiasm and how the two of you are enjoying the working vacation. Best wishes for the show!
WOW! What an amazing perspective on how plants make it to our local garden centers...I am one to gripe about the costs of some plants and I now have a better understanding...an awesome tour. I love how you took something as simple and affordable as cinder blocks and turned them into something that can be so unique and individual...I'm almost at the end of the vid and hope in this one or the follow up that you show the lining and planting process. Your older videos are an absolute treasure trove
I know you might never read my comment, but if you ever come to Costa Rica to tour the facilities down here I'd love to tag along and of course invite you to my own garden, it's nothing grand, just what I've done with what I have available here as far as materials and plants go. All I can say is that it's the perfect place to escape the snow and cold of the US ;)
there are very few channels with videos that I think are worth watching again, usually once I've seen it, I've seen it. however. I have watched most of your videos more than like 5 time already. they're always amazing and I always learn something new I missed the first 4 times. you have inspired me to attempt gardening again starting with some succulents. keep up the great work. I love it.
Mind blowing then people complain about the price of plants. My mind is trying to expand to try and take all this video thanks for brining this to us.👍
I sooooo enjoy your vlogs! I have never been in a green house either! The hanging basket towers are spectacular! I would love a demonstration on those! It would be nice to add some beautiful color to all of my succulents!!!!! I can't wait for your next video. You inspire me with every one!💕😊❤️
What a super cute idea using the cinderblocks that way… I could have my grandson who is almost 3 help paint them that would be fun thanks for the idea :-) get somewhere warm:) i’m sure your presentation is going to be outstanding :-)
+Garden Answer OMGYGOD Laura thank you SO much for this video!! All the plants were just GORGEOUS and it felt like I was there with you!! One of my bucket list goals is to start visiting botanical gardens and flower shows. And I just LOVE visiting Home Depot, I make a beeline straight to the plant or outside garden section, I can spend my whole day there if allowed lol, but next month I will be going there to pick up some succulent babies, can't wait!! :)
Love that video I would to take some of those design features that is in those photos of that greenhouse into my own yard! If I could send you a photo of place right now you would be glad all you have to deal with is cold, we have about 2 ft of snow right now, it's been coming down ever so lightly. But still to cold to do anything outside.
Wow interesting tour, didn't realize so much work, & people go into all our plants before them. I'm curious, what is the plant the is on the floor(14.30) timeline, with bright pink flowers in white pots. They are gorgeous.
You should say the exact city you’re in. Once I learned you were actually in Carleton A few minutes away as opposed to Detroit, I was sad I missed out.
Can you please explain the growth of angels trumpets and blooming process? Thanks in advance I have one brought last year did not bloom but it is now getting leaves now. I brought it indoors for the winter months. I'm here in Chicago and it gets very cold but this year has actually been decent. I just want to make sure I'm caring for it correctly.
