North east has natural beauty but no development. No proper public transportation services, average to pathetic roads, lack of good hotels outside Guwahati, most villagers are not welcoming to outsiders, many areas are hard to access etc etc.

I work in the hotel industry and I know the best hotels to the worst ones.There are classy hotels in all the Northeast states, I can name them if I have to be precise. Roads and amenities are on top notch for states like sikkim and Meghalaya also parts of Arunachal(tawang). What people forget is that, these people don't come to the northeast for leisure bacause that's what they have been living their life on, they come to see the indigenous tribal culture, local cuisines, the way of life, natural beauty, hunting, camping and the list goes on. People are kind enough not thug them which apparently happens in the main lands. Take pride, don't complain #peace
