12:28 Varanasi/Banaras’s ancient Sanskrit name is Kashi… this is by far one of the oldest cities in the world, dating back thousands of years.. Hindus scriptures mentiom that the city was setup by Shiv (the destroyer) for his wife… it is one of the holiest places for Hindus
If you visit the iconic "Ajanta Ellora Caves" you will definitely say why this is not a world wonder ? And the history & techniques of making this temple will definitely blow your mind.
Okay, just paused the video to let you guys know more about the religious significance of Varanasi or in local tongue "Banaras". Banaras is considered to be the most religious and popular pilgrimage spots in the country mainly famous for it being situated on the banks of Ganga. Also, it holds a very close religious significance to worship lord Shiva. "Kashi Vishwanath" temple of lord Shiva aka Mahadev is amongst the most visited temples of the city. It is also a very popular place for the cremation and the rituals that we follow, as we believe it to be the place from where our departed loved ones would be taken refuge by Lord Shiva. Also, it has a cultural impact on us. I am going to tell you things about Varanasi which these documentaries could never even research for. Banaras is famous for it's calm and soothing evenings on the banks of Ganga, it's famous for it's dairy market, it's famous for being a spot for friends who believe in the higher power a little bit more than the younger generations, it is famous for the authentically homemade Bhaang which is a by-product of Cannabis and is a famous pop culture thing tied in relations to be consumed on the occasion of Holi and of course the famous Banarasi Pan. Holi is so lit in Varanasi and Mathura (both in UP). There are plenty of other things which I would love to show you guys in person, there is an art school literally just by the river bank and by the evening the students (indian/foreigners) plus tourists gather in groups and jam together. There are plenty of such experiences which you won't get in Travel packages. So for the next time whenever you plan to visit India, and Banaras; I would love to host you guys at my own place for an evening to show you the real Varanasi.
When you get to the North Eastern part of India......That's when you realize what it's like to be in Heaven......It can't be described in words........You have to visit to feel it.....
Tourism can never dilute the holiness of Varanasi . I went there with after my Grandpa's death for his “mukti” . I visited many places but that experience was special
Varanasi is a very Holy place for the Hindus, there is a Shiva linga there named as Vishwanath Temple and every year millions of people come to pay respect.❤ the Ganga water is considered as the holiest water in India. If you go in any Indian Hindu household you will always see them have Ganga water in bottles for worshipping and also to make Prasads (food) that is offered to god and then shared in between people as god’s blessing.
if youd ask me theres this place 2hrs south of goa with practically untouched beaches and if you book at the right time you could see bioluminescence in the waves at night. its called gokarna
When she said the marble of the Taj was cold I just had a flashback to when I went there We went there in the summer and when we arrived we learned that the westerners are allowed to wear special covers on their feels but Indians are supposed to be completely bear foot. And the thing about the marble is it gets so hot under the sun so we were literally dying walking there 😂 we would stop every 2 minutes and stand on our hats just give our feet some rest 😅 obviously it was a beautiful experience but also quite torturous
I don't understand why most people who make these videos think that India means from Kashmir till Maharashtra and in South, there are only two places, Kerala and Goa. The worst part is they are spreading their ignorance everywhere in the world. There are so many beautiful places in Andhra, Telangana, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu other than Kerala in alphabetical order. These are big states and have beautiful pilgrimage, cultural, historical and sightseeing locations. And similarly Northeast Indian seven sister states are hardly mentioned in many of these kinds of videos. Either they are ignorant and in that case at least they should mention the areas which they are covering. If they do this on purpose, it is extremely bad and cheap on their part.
You can go to Andaman and Nicobar Islands instead of Goa . That is much less crowded. Take Flight from Chennai or Kolkata to Port Blair. Visit Neil and Havelock Island there
FYI Varanasi is the oldest city in the world and in the city of Varanasi you will see beautiful temples and everything in Varanasi is of religious and historical importance.....and one must visit the manikarnika ghat....it's a place of cremation but you would surely find that nothing in this world remains....people find meaning of life there and honestly people find calmness in their hearts after visiting here.
One state that's like a hidden gem for nature lovers have to be Meghalaya. The other states of Northeast are really beautiful too. If you want to explore India to the fullest and you have the time and money, divide the trip in 3 parts. 1st south India, 2nd north and west, 3rd north east and east. And don't go for "seeing the real India bs" by travelling to unsafe places even locals avoid or staying in cheap places because that's just one aspect of it. There's a Dutch TH-camr Ivana who moved to India few years back after travelling extensively here. I think her content is really a good starting point for foreigners planning a trip as Ivana is really neutral and understanding and also great with travel content
12:17 it is legitimate as it is the oldest city of the world .... when we say a place where life and death mean .. it truly does ... in the morning you perform cremations .... then go to ganga to take a dip .. than in the evening attend the ganga aarti ... praying to ganga and requesting it to guide the dead to their directions and keep its magnanimous eyes on us....

Honestly, if you want to visit India and discover it completely, even 2 yrs might not be enough, but if you want to experience it roughly 1 yr will do. Plus if you're visiting some place with historical value, it's worth hiring a guide cause the history of india is far more deep and different compared to western places as they are at max 1000 or 1500 yrs old. In india, everything at least 500 yrs old and can go as far as 1200 bce or much more than that. So yeah, you definitely need guides. Plus that helps the local economy too❤

My ancestral origin is of Rajasthan. The first and last places were from Rajasthan and I just love Rajasthan. Vande Matram
I love how Hayley smile 🙈🙈💓💓💓✨✨❤️❤️….. I am really mesmerised
I wish to see a whole video where she was only smiling 👀🙈🙈💓💓💓💓💓
Varanasi is a very Holy place for the Hindus, there is a Shiva linga there named as Vishwanath Temple and every year millions of people come to pay respect.❤ the Ganga water is considered as the holiest water in India. If you go in any Indian Hindu household you will always see them have Ganga water in bottles for worshipping and also to make Prasads (food) that is offered to god and then shared in between people as god’s blessing.
you forgot Kumbh Mela.
if youd ask me theres this place 2hrs south of goa with practically untouched beaches and if you book at the right time you could see bioluminescence in the waves at night. its called gokarna
Ladakh is even more beautiful than shown here it's breathtaking especially Kargil Ladakh is naturally so blessed
The quieter, cleaner beaches are in Konkan which is a region in Maharashtra. That is the state above Goa.
I think the best place to visit in india now would be TOVP (Temple of Vedic planetarium ) in Mayapur, West Bengal.
When she said the marble of the Taj was cold I just had a flashback to when I went there
We went there in the summer and when we arrived we learned that the westerners are allowed to wear special covers on their feels but Indians are supposed to be completely bear foot.
South Goa is a lot more calm, clean and beautiful if you’re looking for a chill beach experience
9:39 I would pay to to see this reaction again😂
You missed

Beaches
Andaman too
Darjeeling queen of hills is underrated. It is very beautiful place to visit, located at west bengal state. And it is also famous for tea.
Do one thing find most cold most hot most rainy most windy places in India 🇮🇳 start move around like that
It's a re-upload or I am having Deja vu😢😢😢😢😢😢
HI
Im a Goan, the southern Goan beaches are much peaceful then the northern ones. The north is full of tourists for most of the time of the year.

True beauty lies in indian villages if you want to feel the essence of indianness
Kerala is super lush and green. It's so green that it almost feels like that the contrast of your eyes have been dialled up to 11.
Flying from Jaipur to Kerala is a big shock. You go from brown and red desert to tropical blue and green.
My village is ladakh .. ladakh is also known as the land of high passes. If uh visit India next time uh should visit ladakh , uh gonna love it for sure .
6:15 You should only go to your hotel's private beach in Goa if you are like me and hate being in crowed spaces. 14:09 It is funny that the video said that Agra is known for one thing because that is so true but it is different for different people. On one hand it is known for Taj Mahal to the outside world, it is also known for its mental hospital among the north Indians at least (even though it has shifted for a while now).
you should visit Northeast, Ladakh, Sahiyadhri, Ayodhya, Pilibhit Tiger Reserve, Valley of Flowers, Nanda Devi, Varanasi, Himachal Pradesh (Off beat locations)
We have everything like Deserts, Land surrounded by lakes, mountain ranges, Cold Mountains, cold places, snowfalls, waterfalls, Íslands, Surrounded by Sea, Surrounded by Ocean, Higlands, Bays, beautiful Hills, Natural Forests, Beaches, Luxury, Vibrant Villages and What not 😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣
I don't want to argue or anything but just the name Darjeeling would surely ring the bell. ❤
This video is such a troll. Agra and Delhi in two different points but somehow Arunachal and Kashmir didn't make up to top 10😂. Rest aside Bangalore, Himachal, Uttarakhand etc.
1. Rishikesh
2. Kashmir
3. Meghalaya
4. Lakshdweep

There are many beaches in goa..and not only beaces but hills, churches, potrugeesw architecture, great sea food,etc...now back to beaches: there are 3 kinds in goa
1.the few very popular beaches...dont go to them..super crowded snd dirty bcs of too many ppl
2.the ones with crowd but good crowd..clean..lots of good food options on the beach(the 1st 2 kinds are mostky in north goa)eg candolim
3.the less popular ones...very little crowd,peaceful...plus many resorts have direct access to them and youll have some area just for the resort..no one else can come there..
Please visit Rajasthan - pushkar, chittor, Jaipur, Jodhpur , udaipur, jesalmer, jungle safari of forests kumbhalgarh and lot more tuns of historical places ❤

Swayam from Varanasi it is the oldest living place on the planet it is full on spirituality but now most of the like 50% of the city is modernized and has a very much Western cultural influence to it so you can enjoy the both having some sandwiches and McDonald's and visiting to the gullies of the oldest city in the world🕉🔱
Varanasi was established by lord shiv so it is very holy
Visit the SinQ Beach in Morjim, Goa to have a secluded and calm holiday
Northeast not in the list?
Wtf,
That's the thing the world doesn't know about our land,

If you want to go peaceful beaches then you can visit kokan. It's nearby goa. It's at Maharashtra Goa border.
GOLDEN TEMPLE IS NO.1
Next time come to Kerala ❤
Video creator never heard of north east india and south india (Because only Kerala is on the list)
