Why I DIDN'T Go To Film School

Looking back at a decision I made 20 years ago to not go to Film School. It is not the right move for some that may find themselves with the desire I had with production work. It is the right move for others. In this unedited talk, I go over my opinion of where Film School fits in for certain pursuits and isn't needed for others. After living off of video work solely the last 18 years, I don't regret my decision.

I had a friend in NY that was in a band called "Ruff Cut" back in the day. I'm turning 60 in a couple weeks. I've been a illustrator/Art Director in NYC for 40 years. I only got into video to offer more in the Agency I started in Texas 15 years ago. All TH-cam and self taught. Too late for me to learn any other way while still running my shop. Never afraid to learn. I enjoy growing, even at my age. All good.
