    Hi Ian,
Really cool to see you got gifted the Peter Brock book - my dad worked for Alan Moffat and built the engines on the two Ford XC Falcons that placed first and second in 1977, driven by Alan Moffat & Colin Bond. Amazing moment in racing history (definitely worth a watch!)
He’s also just finished rebuilding his own Ford XY, which would give an American muscle car a run for its money! Clearly a very proud daughter.

As a kiwi who now calls Australia home, you're making me nostalgic for Whitakers chocolate. Some of my family come from Porirua in Wellington, where the Whitakers factory is. I remember going to watch some cousins playing rugby very early on an extremely foggy Saturday morning... the fog was permeated with the smell of hot chocolate from the factory- it was divine!
It's an absolute pleasure seeing you enjoy learning about our country and I think your knowledge surpasses many of us Aussies. I'm enjoying learning new things with you all. Take care from Melbourne, Australia.🐨👍💙

It is tradition for many Aussies to give purces or wallets & handbags with a coin in them , the idea of this is the coin is to bring the gift recipient good fortune, to give one of these items without a coin may bring them bad luck. Up until the 80s all handbags had a 2c coin In a plastic pouch sewn into the inside of the handbag.

Two Thumbs Up - Ned Kelly went back (into danger) to help his mates, to a certain death, he did not run away. When he was hanged, his last words were "Such is Life". He is a hero outlaw in the eyes of most Aussies. He fought the law and the law won. His skull was stolen years ago and never seen again. Big story, when you have time have a look.

Ok so my favourite thing to do with milo is put a heap in the bottom of a bowl and add a little bit of hot water. Mix until it has a fudge consistency. Then add ice cream. DIvine!!!!

Also our most moving and emotional music is 'And the band played Waltzing Matilda, 'about WW1 by Eric Bogle (a Scottish immigrant) and 'I was only nineteen ' about the Vietnam war by Redgum. It will give you an understanding of our respect for the men and women who have served to keep Australia safe and egalitarian.

    The gifts from down under.
You will love the slot car racing.
    So much fun.
Also with the baby formula shortage.
An aussie company has sent 27.5
Million bottles to usa. Seen on news today.
Lets see how long befire they get to
    The shelves in the supermarket.
Keep up the great reactions mate.
    Enjoy your long weekend.

Hi Ian. I was screaming at the TV when I seen the coin purse. It's traditional to put a coin or money in a purse or wallet as a gift. It's seen that the purse or wallet will never be empty. The same with a money box or anything that is supposed to hold money. Cheers.

You can get codes that can make any dvd players play DVD's in all regions. Just look it up & type in your dvd players model number & it'll give you a code that makes them unrestricted.

OHHHHMANN you let the air out of the Inverloch jar........
I still have a tin of Rocking Horse Poop from the Giant Rocking Horse from South Australia. I will NEVER open it.....
I did love the "straight to the poolroom" reference in this episode, as the original Kerrigan's house was around the corner and up the hill from the house I grew up in. I showed it to my lovely lady (she's a Perth girl) after Christmas at Mum's place a few years back, because the film is legendary. The house was not in Oak Park, or Coolaroo (legitimate local suburbs) but Strathmore. Dagonet Street. It has been knocked down. If you want get in touch with me if you head to Oz, and I can point the way.

The #4 car is an Aussie FJ Holden (a classic). The Mad Max Interceptor is from Mad Max 2 (Road Warrior), the double tanks at the rear differentiate it from the first film.

If you can't get the DVD's working in your DVD player, try your computer, most computers with a DVD drive can play DVD's from any region (use VLC player software if the software you have doesn't work)
