During the summer I filmed a short car documentary in Tokyo, Japan. As some of you may know, I’ve always been intrigued by the Japanese sports cars of the 90’s. They were overpowered, affordable, technologically advanced for its time, and each manufacturer were unique in their own style.
In the recent years, many of Japanese car corporations are relying on western engineers to design the outer bodies of their car line ups. In the last decade most Japanese car companies are building their cars domestically in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. All this is becoming a cost effective trend that’s no longer focused on originality, creativity, and craftsmanship.
Yuichi Katoh is an inspiration to the Japanese sports car enthusiasts. Despite extremely high taxes for registering older vehicles. Yuchi continues to drive his Z in the streets of Tokyo.

This is the BEST Z32 I have ever seen... refreshed and modernized. Everything is so clean... down to the bolts. I love my 2+2 N/A... even though its slow it's the best car I have ever owned. One day, my Z32 will have turbos... one day.
Just like you, I started off with a NA 2+2 and it was a lot of fun, no turbo lag, and it sounded better in my opinion. If you can find a 2+2 turbo I highly recommend it over the 2+0 turbo.

Oh Yes, I agree the 2+2 is such a better chassis. I rode in a 2+0 Twin Turbo today and was not impressed by the handling at all. Car felt alot smaller inside too, while the 2+2 feels wider and more supercar like to me. Apparently it had suspension work, strut bars etc and coilovers yet did not feel anymore solid than my 2+2 which only has eibach springs lol. Also felt like the 2+0 had more understeer.. even though I was not driving I could feel it. There was a 2+2 Turbo for sale in my state a while back but I missed it... maby someday it will be available otherwise I will be looking for a clean 5 speed 2+2 chassis to swap. Alot of mechanics I talk to just don't like the Z32/working on them or understand the potential it has.
Currently own a '92 Z32 NA 2+2. Modernizing it has been a challenge, it's true most mechanics will charge extra to work on it, thankfully my uncle is a master and we have been able to get it running nicely..

Same here man and I’m 22 now have loved it since I was 13 and I’m getting so close to the dream... plus this car needs real enthusiasts to own them not dick heads who reck them and have no love for the z!!!

No doubt the cleanest Z i have ever seen. The Japanese sure know how to take care of their cars and i would love to own one, one day! Even i have to import one, i would considering how expensive LHD ones are priced here.

I too fell in love with the Z32 when it came out in my country back in 90. I now own one and its my forever car. Yours is done amazingly well. I hope you still have it.

My z32 isn't like a lot of them, she's all stock except for an r32 GTR shifter. She is young at 52k miles, and she's more than perfect for me without all the power modifications. The 2+0 NA is a great car to have fun in, it's not about speed. It's about celebrating the things and the people you love, for me the Z is all about the ethos and the community. Whenever someone sees my z32 or my s130z and they get drawn in and want to talk for hours about it then that's what makes the experience for me.
Always nice to see the Z32 in its natural habitat, the car and city are amazing! On my second Z32, hope to keeps this one for a while!

I owned a white 93 300zx Na 2+2 amazing car had 212,000 miles when I sold it but was the coolest car I've ever owned and regret letting go of it for sure !!

By any chance do you or anyone else no what type of steering wheel that is? thats one of the things that i like the most about his car.
I believe it's an R34 special steering wheel. He added the Z emblem.

The active spoiler was completely custom. You will have to ask a performance body shop if they are capable of creating such a spoiler just like this.
