Why cheese in carrot paste and mayo in beet paste? Is there any specific reason of we can interchange or can we go only witj mayo or only witj cream cheese in both the pastes? Just inquisitive

Loved the recipe and the look of the final ribbon sandwich 👍 however i suggest that it would have been better to cut the edges first as you can then use them for breadcrumbs for future use . In the method used by you the colours blend into the edges and makes it soggy and wasteful. Just saying 😀
