Hey PBJ, I'm only at 3:08 in the video and I know these will be great because you cleaned them really well, the same was my mom did, and the way she taught us. My mom always made the best neckbones; with or without gravy! (Just like with ribs, sometimes you want them wet with extra sauce, and sometimes dry or with sauce on the side.) I was just thinking about how good my mom's pork neckbones tasted and I though to myself "I bet PhillyBoy Jay has a neckbones recipe," and here we are! Thanks for all your great recipes! OK, let me finish the video.... I'll be making these soon.
Got the down, I'm from Southern Georgia and my grandmother used to make this and you got it, I just couldn't remember how to make it, I don't give a damn this is good!
Hey PBJ. I Love ur cooking videos. I've been trying a lot of ur recipes and I must say every one of them were excellent. Keep up the good food. U are one of the best cooking TH-camrs!!!!! Thanks PBJ!!!!

PhillyBoyJayCooKingShow2.0 I bet that would be good if you throw some mushrooms it too! Looks good! great job! I’m starving for em now. Gonna make em for the first time tomorrow. My Daddy used to make us kids some when we was small and lived at home and haven’t had em since he passed 22 years now. I been cravin these for some reason. Miss my daddy. Also he made us some steak and it had I’m thinkin green peppers and onions and some kind of tomatoes or tomatoes paste in it. Was good but I don’t know now how he made em. He done a lot of huntin back in the day so it could have been venison or some like that. We was poor growing up but he made sure us kids didn’t go to bed hungry. He taught my ma how to cook the different tings he brought home. Might sound kinda gross to a lot of folks but the worlds heading black this way again...don’t be judging to hard people.
I am definitely going to try neck bones this way! I love them because they are affordable and delicious but never browned first and never thought of that....I know that makes them amazing!! My mom is going to be jealous lol. Love your videos and that you are from Philly!! SW all day! Lol.

I substitute beef broth for water. I usually add tiny bit cornstarch to my broth for little thickness.
I do everything except remove the marrow from the bones, to me that gives them extra flavor.
