- SOLD FOR $30,000. Fully restored 1979 Ford Bronco. Bought from original owner and newly restored. All new paint and interior. All original matching numbers 400 Cu in. C6 Auto. Brand new suspension, wheels and tires

I had a fully restored 79 Bronco, rebuilt 351, Lund visor 34" BF Good rich all retain TA's on American racing wheel's. Lot's of chrome under the hood. Good luck getting 30,000!!
still have mine RESCUED it from an autowrecker 35 years ago needed a grille shell /fender /engine/ its red with white insert 351m auto has 23000km on odometer stashed it away

I had many Ford's my favorite was a short bed 79 Ranger 302 4bbl 5 speed dual exhaust.
I'm late to TH-cam if I would have seen this today I would have flown out and bought it getting ready to retire and I've always loved Broncos

There's one born every minute. All those scratches and dings does not make this a 30,000 dollar truck.
Sure lucky to get 30k, good for him. Doesn’t talk about the axles, gearing and added lockers, new AC etc. He says a factory 400 but they didn’t come from the factory with a 400. They came with the 351m or 460. The 351m can be stroked to 400 cu in. No new motor, no new transfer case or axles? Man he was lucky to get more than $15k for a paint job and upholstery.
You were able to get a 400M in the F Series and Bronco in 1979. In the 80s it was either the 5.0 or 5.8 V8s.

Just curious about the A/C on your '79, is it old school freon that is no longer available, or updated to new freon that is available nowadays?
It was converted to R134.

I don’t understand why you would spend all the money on paint and powder coating but you would get the chrome or fix the gas gage
@@trae7253 very true on the trim. Have a 55 Ford pickup and a 64 skylark I spend time on back and forth and I know the crap they sell now isn't close. Carpet also. I had ordered complete new carpeting for my jeep tj , all the different sellers on eBay claimed the same quality. Well the factory carpet is all edged, pre molded for all curves, angles (like the wheel wells) and have a semi rigid backing. The stuff I ordered came in 2 pieces not 6 like factory. Didn't have any backing , edges, or precuts for like shifter etc... Even though it asked when ordering auto/manual. Stuff was barely thicker than say..... Craft felt.
@@trae7253 I've seen a lot of nice cars painted really nice but lacking the trim. I always assumed they were going for a clean mild custom look then after talking with the owners I find out not at all. They are either looking for factory trim, or have the trim but it's taking up grueling time for them to get it all true and every last little pebble flaw tapped out.
