The 78's and 79's were the best Broncos! They got chincy from '80 on.
I agree that the 78 and 79 are the best but all broncos are great except the 2021 version
They were based off the same design as the Ford F-100, which is why they looked completely different from the 1st generation Bronco.
My best friend had a 79 XLT blue and white with 33s on 10” gold rims...we cruised around smoking weed every night for years...that was the 80’s!!

From 1977 until production was discontinued in 1996, the Ford Bronco looked and felt more like a full-size pick-up truck than an SUV. Thankfully, the Bronco II was able to recapture the Jeep-like quality of the 1st generation Bronco from 1966.

I have a 81 Bronco...Love my Truck...The low gear is amazing and the turn radius on a Bronco is insane.
It will climb a tree, let you turn around and you will be using the gas peddle on the way down and not the brake...

Oh come on you know you ain't going to hit no mud holes with that thing and ruin it! 🤣 I'm a Ford guy and I love these year models I have a 79 f150 and most likely that bronco has got the same engine my truck does a 351 modified bad thing is they didn't have any power because of emissions controls in them years I'm in the process of either rebuilding mine or putting a new engine in it with at least 350 to 400 horsepower
