Same sticks as the Eggshell 1
You can use the Joycon thumbgrip covers on them, and they'll be of a comfortable size to use
Pretty much my go to despite their lower quality feel on the buttons, mainly for the ability to carry 4 cartridges on the back while on the go
I’ve been using Skull & Co thumbstick covers. They aren’t the tightest fit but they don’t fall off to easily. Which brand of cover do you use? Thanks for watching.
that's a really nice controller looks amazing, but I will stick with my Nexigo controller it's the best and idk if this one has hall effect sticks one thing lacking is RGB lights
Can it output 5.1 surround sound in dock mode?
This kinda looks like Nexigo's Gripcon Dock. It's almost like manufacturers all use the same suppliers 😂 (which you pointed out in your More Info). Thanks for the review.

I’ve been having my eyes on this controller for awhile now but I’ve heard from others online that the original switch has a loose fit on it. How does the fit compare vs the OLED?
If I turn it over with the original switch in and give it a shake (not violent but deliberate) it doesn’t move. I can rock it back and forth when pushing down on the top corners. That does move more then I’d like. The OLED is very solid, no movement.

Do you know if it is possible to set the back button to the button on the other side? Like, can i set the left back button to the "B" button?
All the detachable joy cons i ever used can't do it.
Yes you can map buttons from either side. One issue I ran into is that only one button press at a time will register with the back buttons. So I like to map run to one back button and the other to jump. On this controller that doesn’t work well as I’m need to run and jump at the same time.

How's the rumble than TNS 1201 is it still rough rumble? I heard Dobe said in ads have hall effect so its better nexigo with hall effect then. Althogh they have similar design Nexigo and Dobe eggshell II
The motor is a small motor but on my controller the rumble is not rough or noisy. It’s not as nice as the RetroFlag grip controller with its larger rumbles but it is better than the other smaller rumble motor controllers I have.
@@BackNTheBox ok thanks, hope there is no drift issue with this new one. In my country they only sell Dobe gripcon & Nitrodeck is too expensive, no other brand and we cannot buy from overseas too. Mostly is Bluetooth version.
Between this, the Nitro Deck, and Retroflag, which one would you recommend?
The RetroFlag (but with the yellow short stick swapped out). For travel I use the eggshell 2, and I have added joycon rubber toppers from skullnco to the joysticks. I’ve given the nitro deck a lot of second chances and it just cramps my hands to much.

Do this controller have wake up feature??
It will not wake the Switch because it’s powered through the usb connection. I don’t find it really an issue as it’s a grip case controller and therefore it’s easy to use the Nintendo Switch’s own power button.

Does Usb port support data transfer?
USB A connection does but I will have to check the usb c.
I thought this has hall effect based on their official video?
I know the announcement video made a brief statement about it having “Hall 3d joysticks” but the packaging and documentation doesn’t state it. I’ve run a magnet across the controller with no effect to input. That’s not to say they aren’t, they do respond very well with no dead zones. I’m personally not to worried as the price is not overwhelming like official joycons and this will be used for mostly just traveling.
