Very nice! But I fail to see how it useful for combat. Maybe it is for exhibition or Nunchaku juggling. Nevertheless, you are really fluent and explanations are great! Thank you for your videos!

I was so happy to find this video however the chain length on my nunchucks is around 5 in so when I try to flip it over my wrist it wouldn't hang loose. I may have to modify my training if I want to learn this technique

Even if the length is a little long, just practice slowly and you can get used to the same Nunchaku. No need to change it.

@@ShorinRyuFamilyKarate thank you for your reply. The chain is actually almost too short so instead of falling and pointing down over the wrist it is pointing straight out which means I would have to turn my wrist so the nunchuck points down to the ground. Trying to work around that now. Thanks

Master , what should be the length of the chain and the wood . I am unable to practice this on my Nan chaku . I feel the length of the chain is very small to do this. Please guide.

You need to better select a good one or can shorten the length of the chain

@@chrisagne4849 Nunchak can be of any size and length. Doesn't matter the brand too. We just use what is available. Generally here we use the Chinese Nunchaks. Japanese not available. If the length is a problem, you can reduce it by removing a couple of joints.
