FEMA is on the ground as well as many many truckers getting through with supplies from coast guard and other agencies.
My husband is shipping showers and bathrooms from coast guard and they have plenty of loads heading to disaster areas. Tolls and weight stations are suspended. Truckers are sleeping on side of highway. They are working hard!
We have the best response to disasters of all counties. Response and recovery takes time.
You have to clear the roads for trucks to get through. Some roads are completely gone. Truckers are saying that roads are impassible and takes a lot of time to work your way through to drop off supplies. It’s a long process of recovery, I’ve been through this many times in my life as a life long Floridian.
FEMA also spoke and said they did not have the funds!!!!!

Many people get more assistance by filling out some forms on your smartphone. $750 is the immediate payment made to everyone once they submit the request. From there you fill out some forms and declare what you lost and any insurance or uninsured and so on. Lots of people will be getting more money from government and insurance. Please stop spreading lies about emergency response. It’s a slap in the face to everyone working really hard at response and recovery.
