My trash or treasure series mission is to search for the best decks in clash royale from the youtube comments to find the new clash royale best deck 2023! In this series, I took a look at your top clash royale decks, diving deep into unchartered territory in the clash royale meta decks to see if we could find some treasure in our community's unique card combinations. The mega knight deck and goblin drill deck were both contenders to be the best clash royale deck - but there can only be one. The clash royale best decks will almost always have a champion, so it was surprising to see a mega knight deck without one near the top; this sirtag trash or treasure video was one of my favorites in the series so far. The creativity and new meta decks clash royale inspired me to test out royal recruits ram rider and search for the most optimal version of golem balloon battle healer to play. In the end, I was able to find the best deck in clash royale 2023 worthy of playing at top ladder, as the treasure of today's video!

it's so satisfying for me to create this series, and I love looking back on each video being like "yeah that's something I'm proud to keep on my channel forever." Also I'm already looking into playing some new meta golem battle healer balloon decks that were inspired by today's video

This is my favorite series in clash royale its really cool to figure out and discover new decks and its really enjoyable to watch jake playing our decks
Even if a deck we play in the series isn't 100% optimal, there's sometimes a unique card combination that we discover and build on to create a fun new strategy! I'm hyped to start experimenting with royal recruits ram rider & golem balloon battle healer from this video; clash royale might have just started evolving but we've been evolving our creativity ever since the start of this series! This is how CR is supposed to be played, but it’s gotten so competitive over the years that everyone just worries about what’s meta instead of making something fun. Even tho I’m sort of like that now lol

I typically do a video on the top 5 decks from the season before, BUT I recently haven't done that for the past few months because I was traveling in Finland when the new season released, and right before that it was mega draft (so no set decks to showcase). Will be doing one this coming month though :D I could rate the most popular decks in clash royale and pick those decks based on stats / win rates. I just always enjoy doing it with your decks more when I have the time cause the connection with our community 🤝

I have swapped prince and ebarbs around for dif spells but mainly this
Jake, besides suggesting an existing top ladder deck for decks in this series, can you also suggest singular/ 2 or 3 card changes to the deck (so it's still original)? that would help us f2p players a lot as we can't upgrade that many cards ;~;
Most of these decks are fundamentally bad and changing 2or 3 of the cards won’t fix it.
He discusses issues with the deck while playing it, so if you’re looking to use one of the decks, he gives you ways to adapt them.
Since the video is already 25 minutes I can't spend more time than I currently do after talking about the deck / making suggestions to run a different version of the core cards, otherwise the vid would end up a bit too long at over 30+ min. But if you ever have questions, I try to respond to as many comments as I can

Hey tag, I thought you might want to see the deck that has so far gotten me to 6500 and probably legendary when I get my levels up, the reason it works so well is because I made it specifically to counter megaknight. The deck is mortar, archers, poison, goblin barrel, knight, mini pekka, arrows, and skeletons or goblins (both work). Hope you enjoy it 😊

I've been loving using giant skeleton in logbait, here's my deck: Giant Skeleton, Princess, Goblin Barrel, Skeletons, Electro Spirit, Bomb Tower, Log and Rocket.
It is really strong defensively, especially against the classic mid-ladder cards like Wizard, Witch, Elite Barbs and Mega Knight. It does tend to struggle against heavy air decks, especially lava hound, so substituting the evolution Firecracker in for the princess would make that matchup more bearable.
Do y’all see the interaction between the hunter and that one Royal recruit at 10:30. It completely wiped it out even with the shield
That's a really cool thing about the hunter, since it shoots 10 bullets and the damage is counted per individual bullet, it basically ignores shields (if enough bullets hit). The firecracker does this too I believe.
Trash or treasure deck I made that doesn’t have a win condition but can defend anything and gets me a lot of wins: Prince, Dark prince, log, poison, ice spirit, tombstone, cannon cart, hunter

People in our community come up with extremely fun decks to play; I'm glad we started this series a year or so ago :D
I was once playing a midladder pekka wizard idrag deck, but eventually evolved it and have been crushing midladder with what I currently believe is it’s final form. At one point, I even tried using exe nado in the deck After being stuck there for so long, I had to eventually make changes to counter the likes of witch, wizard, mk, other pekkas, lumber loon, ebarbs, and mini pekka bridge spam. This deck has been crushing generic midladder decks for me. As for the pekka in the deck, I feel like it fits well because my deck lacks proper tanks due to miner being the only win con. Thus, the tankiness of mommy pekka more than makes up for that, and is often able to give me positive trades when they spam valk mini pekka, or when it kills the mk with so much health remaining. Miner poison is great because midladder players are all too predictable and poison crushes witch and wizard.
Here is the deck: Pekka, miner, poison, cannon, goblins, dart goblin, ewiz, log. I previously had gob barrel instead of cannon, but then I was struggling to stop certain troops and pushes due to it being only an offensive card. Cannon so far has been able to win me match-ups that I used to struggle against

You can also use mighty miner for knight and bomb tower for inferno tower. The whole point is to drop the skeleton barrel behind the ballon and drop rage. i usually wait till they drop a building and then go opposite side with it.
The deck that i use is : Dark prince, witch, goblin gang, royal ghost, valkyrie, ice wizard, log, and hog rider.

Golem, Elixir Collector, 3 musketeers, lumberjack, Log, Goblin gang, minions, and minion horde. I’ve been using this deck for years and got to the top of path of legends it’s very expensive 5.0 deck but u can’t be scared to take damage or even lose a tower to make a good push

This deck should be played super offensively or defensively depending on your position. Of your opponent has large spells like fireball or lightning, it it reliable to go in for a rush both single land or split lane push. I would always let the mortar do chip on towers and would play defense if needed. I would also go all in against ballon decks, as it would be the main enemy and antagonist against this deck.
I play a fast cycle lumberloon deck that I have been playing for a couple of years and have really enjoyed playing. The deck is lumberjack, balloon, fireball, log, witch, spear goblins, minions, and cannon.
I really like this deck I made: Magic archer, Log, Skeleton army, Poison (or fireball) Tombstone, Knight, Goblin barrel, and Arrows

Deck that has been doing well for me in ranked is my goblin giant sparky deck.
It uses firecracker, bats, log, arrows, Valkyrie, skeleton barrel, goblin giant and of course sparky.
You could try out my creation:
-Pekka
-Tesla
-Wizard
-Goblin gang
-Minions
-Knight
-Fireball
-Zap
And then use splitlain pressure with knight to tank after you defend easily some pushes. Wizard could be exchanged for fire cracker or dart goblin as well. And minions for bats for a faster cycle
I love my mighty minor, hog rider, Musketeer, poison, royal ghost, tombstone, dart goblin and log deck. Pretty fast cycle and keeps mega knights at bay.

Hey Sirtag, Great video! I have a Trash or Treasure deck for you: Furnace, Goblin Hut, Royal Delivery, Firecracker, Ice Spirit, Skeletons, log, and fireball. Royale delivery gets great positive elixir trades, while skeletons and ice spirit give a super quick cycle, fire cracker never dies, spawners overwhelm your opponents, and log + fireball are amazing on defense. It is an amazing deck that I made. I would love to see you play it. Anyways, great content as always ❤❤❤

using this since 2020 or something 🙂i dont know if it works in high ladder but its ability to counterpush after no skill mega knight pushes and slowly chip the tower made me use it for a long time (also barbarian evolution is coming so its a plus too)

My main deck in cr that got me to 7500 .. skeletons, bomb tower, dart goblin, knight, skeleton barrel, goblin barrel, log, fireball. Very aggressive but can also defend well with dart goblin, skeletons and bomb tower. Fireball/log combo gives enough splash to counter big pushes if necessary. I love it so much.

Yo Tag, here is my homemade wall breakers miner deck. It got me past many leagues in path of legends way earlier in the season than I had ever before. I know it is pretty generic, but it has no anti-air and I'm looking for a way to improve it. You don't have to do it on trash or treasure, just any suggestions would be amazing!

I love seeing the different ways people play throughout the arenas. I’m in mid ladder and I use hunter, mini Pekka, giant, dark Prince, goblin barrel, minion hoard, zap, and fireball.
i actually have a deck that helped me escape midladder and to climb fast in path of legends :
e barbs - magic archer - heal spirit - rage-barb barrel -bomb tower -hog rider - bats
i play it as punishement and i always outplay though match ups the only hardcounter to this deck is log bait with rocket

I run like a splash yard for mid ladder. Skelly king, gy, arrows, valk, baby drag, bats, freeze, and tombstone but when card evolutions come out I will probably switch to skeletons for a faster cycle
Hey jake , I always run this Egiant, dark prince, firecracker, cannon, ice spirit, goblin and barb barrel and tornado
The idea is that dark prince will jump over the tower and destroy the buildings they're using to defend the Egiant 😊
You can also put firecracker at the bridge to splash to the defending troops

i play it as rascals spam pretty much, don't royal giant until double elixir unless he plays something huge then go other lane. i usually split my rascals and use miner on the single side rascal and repeat until double elixir, super fast cycle in my opinion, i've won 14 games straight!

I have been using this deck from 2000 trophies to 6300 trophies.

Ive been using this deck for a while now. log, royal delivery, bandit, P.E.K.K.A, dart goblin, spear goblins, rascals, wall breakers.
rascals and spear goblins make a good combo with the boy rascal taking damage while the girl rascals and spear goblins insert dominance and if that goes wrong you have royal delivery and the log

I’ve been climbing ranks (for my skill) and I think this might be an interesting deck : Royale giant, earthquake, goblins, Tesla, firecracker, log, frost spirit/electro spirit, and inferno dragon/mighty miner.

Royale recruits, log, arrows, dart goblin, wall breakers, skeleton barrel, skeleton king, & magic archer (MA is interchangeable) it’s much of a swarm deck. You can build huge pushes.
Mega Knight, Mega Minion, Zappies, Dark Prince, Firecracker, Wall Breakers, Fireball, Arrows. I'd love if you'd try it one day!

Here is my deck I want to share: Royal hogs, Heal spirit, Barb barrel, Arrows, Goblin cage, Flying machine, Firecracker, Barbarians.
It plays like a control deck and people have the choice to either use firecracker or barbarians evolution depending on which one they have unlocked.
I currently have a 70% win rate with this deck even though my card are level 12 and 13 and I don’t have the barbarians or firecracker evolution

When he started talking about royal hogs with royal recruits I thought it was mainly just that you could bait a fireball with the flying machine then split-lane push with 2 hogs and 3 recruits on each side

Used this deck to get top 100 in the local section of ladder. Used this deck since the very start of clash Royale. It does have some weaknesses but once you learn every interaction you can outplay people all the time with it 🤙🏽

For the mega knight deck, sub out dart goblin for the firecracker, it's buff makes her great, at lowest hp will still hit towers now too then you could sub in zap
Hey sirtag, everytime i see a royal recruits deck i always think of the royal combo, which talking about it i made a triple combo, which basically makes it one of the most overly defensive deck i’ve ever played, if you manage to conserve your elixir, and always split your pushes, you’ll get a guaranteed 2 crown

A deck I’ve played a LOT of is egiant sparky archer queen heal spirit bats bandit mini pekka and rage. I would love to see how you would play and improve this deck. thanks
Please try this deck for the next trash or treasure. It's been my main deck for almost 3 years and it works for me amazingly- lumber, loon, snowball, executioner, tesla, freeze, electro wiz, minions- 3.9 avg
Ive been playing the same log bait deck for years. My only lvl14 deck. I dont know if its actually good but i win most of my games at 6500 trophies. My battle log has 2 losses and the rest wins.
