Hornacek until today is way underrated. Shooters back then didnt have the freedom to shoot as they do now when personal results care more. Now every crap is taking 3s. Horny should be HOF.
In my humble opinion Jeff Hornacek is the greatest shooter of all time. He was born in a shooter's rhythm. There could be 5 minutes left in a game and he could be 2 for 5 from the field...and could rattle off 5 in a row, no problem. He also had the ability to drive the lane and shoot over much bigger players....just overall underrated.
I saw an exhibition game in Ames, Iowa home of ISU, Hornacek's old school, with the Suns. I remember because Rambis was there too. I walked past the usher with my son while he was flirting wiith a few hotties and we went around the end of the court during warm-ups. I remember thinking how tall even the 'little' players were!

Everyone remembers him with the Jazz, but his best years were with the Suns. Anyone who says he wasn't great should watch him with the Suns.

36 on midrange, layups and free throws and not a single three. Doesn't matter what era, that's super impressive to do.
