Thank you for your excellent instruction and enlightenment. Giving examples and giving context to these words is most helpful and puts Ukrainian into proper context for me.
Both of my Parents are of Ukrainian Heritage. Our Family was very active in Ukrainian Cultural including Liturgical music, Folk Music and Folk Dance. Contributions have been mainly in Canada but we’re also active in Ukraine and United States. My interest is in supporting Ukrainian Culture and Heritage as much as I am able. Watching your channel supports you and your efforts to promote the Ukrainian language. I’m learning and relearning things that I grew up with when Ukrainian was spoken often at home when my Grandparents were still alive. Cheers🇨🇦🇺🇦
Great channel! Ukrainian is one of the most lovely spoken languages. Thank you for being dedicated to teaching Ukrainian and sharing it's beauty with us.
In two weeks I will travel to Ukraine for my 8th visit and I take a friend for the first time! The Ukrainian language sounds so beautiful. I hope to spend two months in Ukraine next year learning it more!
A couple of thoughts for those who wish to help support Olya and this channel: 1) make sure you watch the videos in their entirety - If you are using a third party tool to view them (PIP or some other tool to view them) go back and view them (or let them play until the end) in a native TH-cam format.

Another comment to support the channel. I'm kinda sick of saying why I'm learning Ukrainian since I get this question on a daily basis on Tandem. But this channel deserves all the support it can get! 💕
@LetsLearnUkrainian Can you spell the phrases in English letters for us too please so we can sound out the phrases right. I can read Ukraine it's taking awhile for me to get it. Thank you
I just wanted you to know how much I appreciate your long videos like which repeat the words a number of times. This grows my vocabulary better than any other kind of exercise. I also like the way you give a lot of examples using other words in combination and provide helpful background information, like other forms of the word and how those are used. I have been working in and around Ukraine since 3 months after the full scale invasion started. I hope to be here for many years as I expand my Resilient Village project. I wish I had more time to spend on learning the language. It is so essential for my work. With these long videos of yours, I can multitask during the day. Since I'm currently in Poland, glued to my computer and not seeing many people at all, you have become my main companion. Not to mention, I learned the language so much better when you "converse" with me as a language teacher. So please keep up the great work and I will continue to spread the word about your excellent programs. I was invited to give a presentation on Ukraine and my work here to the International Association of Emergency Managers in America. The response and the interest of this special group of colleagues in helping Ukraine to rebuild was so encouraging. So maybe we will have more Americans in need of your special skills In the future!
My pleasure to be your company! So glad to read you're enjoying my videos. I will do my best to film more often, comments like yours are a great motivation for me to continue. Thank you so much!

Mostly support. Clean up after the Ukraine regulars conduct an assault or a drone strike. Run supplies around. Also knowledge transfer. NATO countries have the most thorough infantry training in the world.
Yet another great Video. Thank you very much. :) I find these videos very informative with a great format. I spend my time between Bavaria (German is my Native Tongue), Texas and Zhytomyr. I am learning Ukrainian in order to better understand my business partners, friends, and culture in Ukraine. What I find the most difficult to learn in Ukrainian are Idioms. I also find it difficult when I spend time in villages, people there appear to speaking a blend of Russian and Ukrainian. You have created excellent videos explaining how cases, gender, and numerical value , etc. pertains to nouns - It may be useful to point learners to your previous lessons regarding the relationship between the noun and the adjective describing the noun. Just a thought. Please don’t be discouraged, I believe Quality over Quantity is best, each and every one of your videos are packed with Quality Content. Everyone learns differently - me for example learn best with shorter lists of new words as I find myself going back to your earlier lessons and applying the rules for case, gender, perfective/imperfective verbs, etc. Recently your long lists become a bit overwhelming. I like the format, just not the long lists. :). I will be back in Zhytomyr come March after spending the December, January and February in Bayern. Keep up the great work, I for one really appreciate your efforts. Thank you so very much.
Thank you, Richard for the support you express towards my channel, it truly means a lot! I agree, everyone is learning differently and I see how overwhelming those long videos could be. My thoughts behind these long vocab videos were that they will be perfectly suitable for those who like to consume information in big volumes at once and for people who just like to listen to a language and with shorter videos one needs to keep going back to their computer and searching for a new one to watch. And those, who like shorter ones can just listen for a small part and then get back again, when they're ready. However, I will consider making shorter videos as well, so that everyone can find a suitable format for them on my channel! Hope you'll have a great time in Ukraine! What a great chance to practise the language with native speakers :)
Thank you so much for your channel. I already know some Ukrainian, and I can follow TV programs in your language. Thanks to your channel I am improving my knowledge. Ще раз дякую пані Олгьо, ви дійсно яскрава жінка 🙂🙂🌺

Thanks for the video. It popped up after I watched some other Ukraine video. Also, тупий is 'dull'. You can say it about a person as well, but it means more that he is boring.
I am from Cameroun I study médecin in Ukraine I speak French and English I thought it was impossible to master Ukrainian until I find you so thank you. I would love to have random discussion in Ukrainian with Bank attendant , Doctors or train attendants using noun cases
I once learned Russian from Russian speaking Ukrainians. And I still study Russian, if only to protect my investment of time. But still yet, I am very close to one Ukrainian tutor who used to live in Irpin. From friendship with her, and my sympathy for the Ukrainian cause has driven my decision to begin studying Ukrainian.
Learning Ukrainian to be able to translate for Ukrainian kids in English school, I live in England and these days Polish people helping a bit. Living in UK that's might be useful. I had Russian during my education, so it's quite a lot I understand already. You know, little from Polish, little from Russian's. Obviously I hope all would be over, with Ukraine free, but for know, had idea to expand my knowledge. Just in case.
Your lessons are very good quality. Well done. I hope you're and family safe these days. I hope Kiev and rest of Ukraine will be safe and independent soon. Maybe you could do some help in English for Ukrainians coming to UK? Or for kids joining school in UK? Anyway Keep Strong and Safe
Hello from California u like you as a teacher i am learning ukraune?because i thunk i wull like to be ready to communicate with my new Ukrainian friends and family
… 3) And now for the tip I should be using but don’t - If you all have a long comment it is better for us/you to create more short comments rather then one long one. - Almost all of the social media algorithms value quantity over quality - Unlike Olya’s lessons. but don’t make many short comments the algorithm will catch and discount them. Also replying to comments to others that post will help. too.
Thank you for your excellent instruction and enlightenment. Giving examples and giving context to these words is most helpful and puts Ukrainian into proper context for me.

Greetings from California. I am learning Ukrainian because I wish to travel there and I want to translate songs that I love into your language so that the words seem natural.
My first project is Talking Heads “life during wartime “. It seemed simple but I am learning no good translation is easy.
Yes, translations can be tricky, especially those of artistic texts! Thanks for sharing!
I love your content , my girlfriend is Ukrainian and I am an American living in Germany. I am happy to be learning such a beautiful language! 🇺🇸🇺🇦
That's great! I hope you have fun learning 😊
Thoughts continued: 2) If you came in in the middle of the channel Lessons go back and watch the ones you missed and click the like button.
Thanks for the video. It popped up after I watched some other Ukraine video. Also, тупий is 'dull'. You can say it about a person as well, but it means more that he is boring.
Thanks for watching! Тупий I think is closer in meaning to dumb - not very bright. Dull is more like нудний - not much fun to be around
Great channel. Keep working on it 👍
Thanks so much! Will do 🙂🙂🙂

Great!
Thanks! 😊
I hope you enjoy learning! Thank you for watching 💙💛
🇺🇸I find your videos very helpful and thorough. 🙏
Glad to hear it! 💙💛 thank you

Thank you for sharing! Yes, Polish people has helped my people so much since this horrible war began. We'll never forget that kindness 🇺🇦 ❤ 🇵🇱
Дякую

… 3) And now for the tip I should be using but don’t - If you all have a long comment it is better for us/you to create more short comments rather then one long one. - Almost all of the social media algorithms value quantity over quality - Unlike Olya’s lessons. but don’t make many short comments the algorithm will catch and discount them. Also replying to comments to others that post will help. too.
Wow, that's a piece of information to consider, thank you for sharing!
I am from California. My native tongue is English/Spanish.
Thank you for sharing. I hope you enjoy learning Ukrainian 🇺🇦
