I love our city. I just hate when people publicize the negative, unlike this video. Thank u for this positive video so the world can really see who we really are.
Thank you! I appreciate that! I've noticed the further you get from the city limits, the more you meet people that have no idea that there are positive things going on in Detroit. These 125 views of the city are a good response to educate those that only watch those negative things on the news.
Very cool video, thank you very much for posting this. I think the music was very complementary to the visuals. As someone who moved away a long time ago, I’m always still proud to tell people I’m from the Detroit area. Great to see such changes taking place.
Beautiful drone footage! It's nice to see a positive Detroit video. Surprised there isn't footage from Movement, but the Winter festival is nice with all the lights.
I used to be a photographer for the Movement official afterparties and licensed a few of my images for the flyers, posters and promo material you see around town during that point. I've had other shoots during Memorial weekend over the last few years, but Movement is at the top of my list for next year
@@chrisahernphotography Right on! One of the production companies I booked shows through also use to print almost all the overly fancy rave fliers, maybe some of your work, if between 2000 and 2008 at least, not sure if his company is still around, it's been a long time since I was in that scene. I performed the DEMF/Movement afterparties at Tavern on The Park in 2005, Old Skool 2 at Labyrinth/City Club in 2006, and Advanced Technologies at The Fi-Nite in 2007. Anyway, great footage, hope to see some cool festival footage to see what I've been missing the past decade or so!
my jaw drop, looking at this video.... best video so far 5minutes of goodies, beautiful CENAMA, MUSIC ON POINT... I LOVE YOUR WORK, KEEP AT IT... PS YOUR 50 SUBSCRIBER
It's a Beautiful City. deep down it's a good city. I worked but did not live there for 30 years. there are still some neighborhoods where you don't set foot in after dark or you might not come out. when they clean them up it will be great once again. some good things are helping to bring it back. Beautiful filming. love the night shots with all the lights. stay safe..
The city is trying to change but in last ten years the city had made some great strides in improving I will say that and it’s got some ways to go but we keep this up we will be okay
Looks like this was filmed last summer. The exchange building is almost finished now. Great video. Hopefully we get another one filmed this summer with the new buildings.😊
I believe the Exchange clip was from July, and in general the full video was filmed between 3/2020 and 3/2023. I've been documenting it throughout the construction process, along with many of the other projects going on, I will definitely be giving it its own film when it's finished
Excellent footage. Would it be okay if I use some of this footage in a video of mine? I would appropriately credit you. Please let me know, and once again, awesome work!
Legendary Palma de Mallorca is the most visited city per square mile in Europe & the second most visited city in the world per square mile & in 2023(most tourists ever in the history of Mallorca)it is expected to be the most visited city in the world per square mile.....
Detroit is becoming pretty great, but you still can't compare it to some other major city centers like The Loop in Chicago, Center City Philly, Boston, Toronto or SF or Seattle. I'd put it at the top of the 2nd tier cities list in North America after the big projects are completed
The Heidelberg Project. Artist Tyree Guyton took a block in Detroit and made it his canvas. I encourage you to check it out, it's pretty interesting and constantly changing
not from detroit but spent a few months out there going back in november love the city nowhere else like it
I love my city because I am a Detroiter through and through. Born and raise in the D.

Motor City is coming back...
Detroit is definitely better than New York City.

I love this city. When the Lions go to the Super Bowl, I'm taking out a loan or something to see them play. Don't come for me on this one. D313 ❤

Detroit looks so much bigger than Buffalo.
Cuz it is
Great video! Please tell me - what drone was used to shoot it and who is the author of the music?
A lot of the newer videos I custom make my own music, but for this video I bought licensing rights from the band Ebb & Flod for their song "The Ridge"
May I know the name of the beat? somehow I associate something with this melody, so I absolutely need it
It is a pretty powerful track, I ended up getting licensing rights for it. The Ridge from Ebb & Flod. I mixed this extended version to fit my vision.
awesome video, please change the music :-) heck I'll do a guitar backing track for you for free God bless and have a great day
NYC will always have best downtown district, but I will put Detroit's up against any other city after several major projects going on now are done.

Give it time it will be better then most other cities downtown
