NYC cnc has an excel spreadsheet that you can fill out and will give you the offset. It takes into account the flat on the tip of the cutter if one exists
Nice video, but you haven't addressed the reason why the traditional diapers don't work for single point thread milling - that being that the tool is a sharp point, ands thread dimensions are not defined to a sharp point - so if you use the traditional numbers, the thread is too small. So you walked in the cut until you had a good fit - that works, but there is simple math you could do that would give you the correct numbers without having to walk it in.

But it’s in imperial only I believe? I only use Metric units.
