First look at the all new Schumacher Racing Cougar LD3 Stock Spec 2wd race buggy!
#Schumacher #CougarLD3
Body and wheels included. This should be the standard for buggies really. Like in the oldddddd days.
Hey that’s what I’ve been doing today lol. I got the S for running 17.5 on clay.
I started racing on carpet 2 months ago because I was able to get a used Team Associated b6.3. I read a lot about Losi and Schumacher now that I was able to dip my feet into competitive racing. The question I have, is there a big difference with these three brands? To me they look almost identical when it comes to the builds.. any pointers which brand / model is better than others or is it pure taste?
I own B6.4 in stock spec and I used to have Cougar LD2 Stock spec. They may look almost identical, but trust me - they have different quirks and set-up options. For me, LD2 was hard to set up , too responsive and twitchy while B6.4 was running smooth just out of the box almost instantly. Now, I am more experienced driver so I am tempted to give Schumacher one more chance. Car had plenty of steering, was light and nimble. B6.4 was more stable, a little bit more durable and more reliable on corners (at least for me). I know that my answer to your last question won't be perfect but it would be best if you could have opportunity to give both, or even more platforms a try before deciding which one is best for you.
@@project-mk-ultra thank you very much!! I will go to my local track and talk to other ppl oening other brands and maybe I can even test some cars 👍
@@phonicgl no problem man! test drive would be perfect. In my club people have no problem with driving their vehicles for couple of hotlaps. I just reassure them that if something would go wrong I will pay for any damage. Happy racing!
I've been tempted to buy this to start racing in 21.5 buggy 🤔
Where did u get your foam car stabd??
would you recommend this over the ld2? any aluminum shock caps available?
Are you going to do a review of the new Storm ST2.
No
pink pinion gang 😆
You being under weight has me worried. I got ti turnbuckles and no brass. The track hasn’t said if we will have a limit yet. I hate the shock caps. I drilled one side and the other side sprung a leak. I had to plug them with some tiny screws.
The shock caps are my least favorite part
Yes, I got the same issue. The drilling angle maters.
They sell a set of two for 5$ but out of stock in lots of places. They aren’t bad but not as easy as associated and other brands
What brand pinion is it, and what size tip for the set screw?
@@MrNascarfan1my pinion in an Arrowmax. The set screw uses the smallest Allen key in the world.
I notice that lately you call most cars in your reviews "Best…"
Is this for TH-cam algorithms or do you really think they are the best?
It’s just an algorithm thing, though I’ll put it in videos that might be the best or that people think might be the best.
There is a question mark. He’s not saying anything is the best.
