I'm 54 and watched the series in early 80's, couldn't agree more the world now is too fast paced and nature forgotten apart from few of us, who are considered oldies. The song is very emotional, not good for the heart as can be very upsetting with what's happening now in the world.

I’m young, I may not have been around for the time of Grizzly Adams but I’ve watched the entire series. This show was like a gem I found that I never knew was lost, I listen to this theme when I need to recenter and come back down to earth. It hits a indescribable feeling inside my soul, this show was magic.
That really is so cool to hear. It was an absolute magical Time growing up in this era which is why there's so many grumpy old adults when all we've got is Facebook and tick tock where we grow up with such quality entertainment like this .
RIP Grizzly Adams. This tv show was almost like a refuge when I was growing up...a place where you were surrounded by beautiful nature and warmed by the heart of Grizzly Adams. He will be missed.

Another heavenly sound that accompanied my childhood in the 70's. It was from this series 'Grizzly Adams' aired by TVRI. After watching this, the next day after school I'd go to our farm or our grandma's bigger farm, enjoy the beauty of the nature, and wish that the animals I'd seen were there. I had then some relatives staying in their farm houses remote from our village, and I envied their living close to mother nature and surviving with just all provided by it. In my grandma's farm, I'd wait for this 'durian tembaga' (one quality kind of king of tropical fruits) to fall to the ground in order to enjoy it--when it was right in season. This was like life at its simplest but best...
I was born in the woods of North Idaho I lived it as a loggers son growing up watching this show the song hits home for me the woods is a place I call home great times and great life go find your place live it !!

I’m a child of the 70s and this was my favorite show. It gave me a warm feeling at the time, even now, but I never really listen to the lyrics until now. It seems to me that the song reflect a worldly question on why we are here, why can’t this beauty last, why do things have to die and is there something more. We should understand that the kingdom of God through his son Jesus Christ is the answer to the question that this song is asking. We must keep his commandments and stay obedient to live in his perfect kingdom and we will see all his majesty beyond words.

This was like life at its simplest but best...

I’m a child of the 70s and this was my favorite show. It gave me a warm feeling at the time, even now, but I never really listen to the lyrics until now. It seems to me that the song reflect a worldly question on why we are here, why can’t this beauty last, why do things have to die and is there something more. We should understand that the kingdom of God through his son Jesus Christ is the answer to the question that this song is asking. We must keep his commandments and stay obedient to live in his perfect kingdom and we will see all his majesty beyond words.
