A little bit of a late upload, but it's for a good reason, this took me a loooong time to record and it's a pretty big mod, so yeah! I'm honestly just... really really depressed with the entire situation surrounding the cancellation of this mod, it feels like the community is becoming more and more hateful every single day, BUT enough about that!! This is definitely the best mod I have ever played, even in the unfinished state and with some stuff missing, it was still an absolutely INCREDIBLE experience and I wanna give huge props to everyone who worked on it! There's just SO much content packed inside of it and it was an absolute blast to go through, if I showed every single thing I thought was cool in the video it'd be muuch longer, but I still wanted to add the essential stuff of course, like that AWESOME PokeDex with a lot of cool lore! The art in each song was so incredible too and it all just flowed into each other so.. WELL, I genuinely can't explain how amazed I am with how everything looks in this mod, it's crazy in each song and they're all SO varied as well! So many secrets and cool little gimmicks, as well as AWESOME changes to already existing songs, it was everything you could honestly ask in a mod! The songs were all so incredible as well, I could seriously go on and on about how much I love each and every one, but that's gonna take DAYS!! Super hard to get FC's on too, but it was JUST right in that challenge scale where it's so satisfying to finally get! Monochrome was definitely the hardest one, spent like 3 hours on that one hehe. Loved this mod, really hope this community learns something through this incident... Hope you guys enjoy!

This channel consists of videos about modifications to a rhythmic video game (some of which I personally worked on) that range from slightly difficult to very hard for most players. Four arrows fly towards the screen forcing you to press them at the right time to the music. Hitting all the arrows in a song counts as a "Full Combo", which is very hard to do and takes a lot of time and practice to be able to do consistently and is the main gimmick of my channel, which I showcase in each video. I also include secrets and extra content that might’ve been undiscovered and show them off through instructional and entertaining ways that can be used as guides, as well as occasionally adding my own input on things happening in the video, all done through my creative editing style that focuses on being concise and transformative. In the descriptions I give my in-depth opinion on the video game as well as timestamps for each part of the video. Dev here, little fun fact, we were gonna have these things called gengar notes, that would make your more transparent until your notes were invisible. Pretty sure in hell mode, the arrows would also count as normal notes regarding accuracy, causing the arrows for the rest of the song to be invisible, so you'd have to do half the song perfectly off memory for a full combo.

LET'S TALK ABOUT HOW FLIPPY HASN'T LOST HIS TOUCH? I swear at this point he's not just a cameo in the Friday Night Fever mod, he is physically IN the mod itself all pixelated with a cool setup in the giant cat house while probably FC'ing songs in his free time.

Imagine what a 3+ hours long Mod would be like (if they ever reach that length with a full on high quality Mod, which I doubt but who knows?).

Fact: choosing who to play as in pasta night affects the mechanics, playing as mx only has Hypnos mechanic, playing as hypno only has mx’s pow mechanic, and playing as lord x makes you have both mechanics
so is lord x the hardest character to play as?

Now I honestly Wish Lord X has a Gimmick for an Even Balance. Even though he doesn’t, They could do Something. (Not Anymore but Back then)

Shinto went from being “aw look at the little goober :)” to literally the scariest song in the whole mod.
drama aside, lost cause is so freaking cool. hypno becoming just more of a screeching, disfigured mass of flesh as he gets more frustrated is so freaky, and the whole sequence with GF trying to resuscitate BF before being interrupted by hypno (or what's left of him, anyway) is super sick, and the song bangs too :)

Pasta Night is by far my favorite song, having the choice of who you play as, and that determining difficulty/mechanics is super fun, and MX and Lord X's little duet towards the middle is hilarious to me XD
Amusia has to be the best song Saster has made so far, it's simply so good that I can't describe it.
As for the sprites and detail of Amusia in general, the fact that wigglytuff never hits at least one note is stupidly accurate to the creepypasta portraying that wigglytuff or "disabled" can't sing. AND MAY I REMIND YOU THAT AMUSIA LITERALLY MEANS "the inability to distinguish differences in musical pitch"

The one thing that would've made the song more creepy would be if Amusia themselves didn't have any sort of 'pitch variation' in their notes/vocals.

Also no Credits Menu, And the Option Menu doesn't work.
Also people have found some sprites meant for unseen parts of Purin and Amusia
There's sprites for Pico taking out his knife and also a whole spritesheet for a forward-facing Jigglypuff, fit with more body horror.
In Amusia, all I could find were sprites of a scared ponyta as well as a transition to ponyta being scared, and I'm pretty sure those go unused in the actual song (as if Amusia needed more sprites and effects lmao)

As a huge pokemon nerd, I like to note some details:
In Firered and Leafgreen there's an actual quest where you find a little girl who was lured into the forest by a Hypno.
Gf was singing dad battle to bf, before hypno showed up.
You can see all of reds team from gold and sliver, venusaur, charizard, blastoise, snorlax, espionage, and pikachu(creepachu)
You would most often find missingno on cinnabar Island coast, which is where bf was before the song starts
The zombie and white hand are actually unused sprites in red and blue, one npc mentions a hand on your shoulder in lavander town.
The background of isotope is glitch city, a place you can end up in by ending the safari zone game mid-air
Monochrome is a reference to the "Lost silver" creepypasta, many other characters are also from creepypasta, and they all meet in "pasta night"
"Replaced by a blue haired kid" could be a reference to gold/Ethan or ash who both have blueish black hair.

Flippy deadass carries this community on his shoulders, and is amazing for it.
It feels complete, but lacks a few assets.
Such as the dialogue and sf of the 3, 2, 1, go! + Hypno falling apart in V1 that didn't make it to V2. All the songs were amazing, though I don't know why people dislike the revamped V1 songs. Maybe because of a slight tune change? But I still like them! I'm curious about who came up with the characters in Shinto + Sh1tno. They don't seem to be from any creepypasta that I can recall.
I bet people are gonna add in the unfinished assets and add in a few more things too. Hopefully it won't be too bad-
Shinto is a totally new character made by the team. They say it's from a bootleg pokemon game with a child's soul trapped in Grey, the main character

Not sure if easter egg or a glitch, but during Monochrome I got "Boo!" and after typing it in the song ended and unlocked the song in Freeplay despite not ever finishing it legitimately on that version of the mod.
Edit: Tested further. Shift+1 just auto ends the song.

Sucks the mod was cancelled just days before its release. The work definitely shows with the assets and cutscenes looking amazing. My only issue are the songs which to my surprise aren't really that good imo including the remixes idk why but the songs for me just aren't nice to listen to not to say they're all bad just nothing really gripped me but hopefully I'm the only person that experienced this and everyone else enjoyed the songs.

to get the Amusia song you need to buy a broken music note from the in game shop keeper and before you buy it he will comment: “she can’t sing”
