Everybody would recognize ailee because of her unique vibrato, sooooo healthy that even her high belting doesn’t sound strained Also seungyeon, because of that voice of hers, and her signature climaxes are almost unmatchable SoHyang too, it’s sooooooo obvious, no one sounds like her espacially her high notes, no one can hit those especially the fact her singing doesn’t sound like screaming at all

But, Ailee is pushing above D5 due to that she lacks of resonance above D5 but still the supports is still there. Upper register: Ailee>>>SSY SSY needs a lot of improvement in this register. Vocal range: Ailee has a wider vocal range than SSY. The conclusion is all of them are amazing singers. I hope both Ailee & SSY will improve their technique. Sohyang: Best female singer in South Korea. Ailee: Best kpop idol vocalist. SSY: Best monster rookie vocalist.
For me my Korean Vocal Trinity would be So Hyang, Lee Young Hyun, and Lena Park. Or replace Lena Park with Seo Moontak/So Chan Wee/Park Kiyoung. Ailee, Son Seungyeon and Shannon is my much younger version of Korean Vocal Trinity. For males, Park Hyoshin, Naul and Jung Dongha/Kim Bumsoo. Kyuhyun, Sandeul and Chen for a younger version.

Shannon is great but her vibrato is incorrect. Instead of pulsating the air using her diaphragm and lungs, she moves her jaw to manipulate the sound to make it sound like vibrato. If she didn’t do that I’d rate her a lot higher.
Sohyang is better than Mariah in both mix and Head voice, while mariah is better with lows and whistles, plus mariah is Sohyang's number one inspiration Whitney and ailee have very different styles but Whitney is better a bit SSY and celine both have amazing resonance but SSY kills Celine on high belts.. while celine kills the HV and lows... All six are legends

Ok, so I think up to A5 Son clearly holds the edge. She has so much soul which just works in favor when you have so much range. Ailee has a sass and emotional charm that the other 2 don't have. She also exceeds the other too in terms of runs and riffs. She's far more precise when it comes to runs, however in terms of highs, she's outclassed. So hyang has the highest belt of all 3 ( to my knowledge) and can sustain her higher notes past A5 for far longer, however she isn't as clean with her runs, lacks emotional connection and all though she hits her highs with ease, past like an A5 often times she sounds like she's shouting her notes. That all said all 3 ladies excel in different areas. But all are fantastic. I honestly believe Son is the most well rounded in spite of being the youngest.
