I can 100% agree with that. I'm still a student so I'm still working minimum wage. I work at a large car wash/detail shop outside of a rich neighborhood and we usually detail higher end cars and a good portion of our customers/members make higher than average salaries. I make $7.50 an hour and if I added tips into that wage, I would be making around $20 an hour. I worked 6 hours today, took home $45 (7.5/per hour) in hourly wage and $97 in cash tips for a total of $142.

Mounting your phone on the windshield like that is a terrible idea when the phone is in direct sunlight. The sun is cooking the battery and can cause it to expand in some cases if it's left there too long. I have a suction cup mount myself that I can put on the dashboard or other places in the vehicle to help shade the phone. The battery getting hot like that will cause it to degrade way faster than normal and you will see performance go down from the battery. I also sometimes just keep the phone in a cubby hole and go from there because I can multitask drive but some people play it safe and try to keep it in their field of view at all times. I also have noticed on my car which is not like everyone else's I can lay my phone on the gauges where the speedometer is and it only blocks my speed and RPM half way so I can still see the warning lights and everything else as long as I'm driving like normal there's no problems. I hope this helps. Also you can try switching your phone to a point on the driver window since sometimes it's not in direct sunlight and just be careful opening and closing your door. and lastly you can try mounting it all the way at the top of the windshield so that it protrudes to where it is under the roof of the vehicle and not in direct sunlight you might have to remove or turn a visor to the side but it will allow you to have the phone all the way at the top and it won't get direct sunlight causing the phone to heat up so much that it is scared to run itself

ogro gruñon you pay taxes on "profit", don't forget there is a lot of thing that you can deduct, like gas mileage, cell phone bill etc! In his case, he made $118.86 and drove 90 miles, in 2020 you could deduct $0.575 per mile, 90 miles x $0.575 = $51.75, so $118.86 - $51.75 = $67.11, so just using the standard mileage deduction of $0.575 per mile in 2020, he only has to pay tax on the $67.11 amount! If you have a car that doesn't use much gas, you can pocket a good amount without having o pay taxes!
SUV are not made for run around delivery vehicle, get yourself a cheap Corolla or civic, maybe manual if you like ,but definitely not an SUV...bigger car, bigger tires and parts=bigger bill when shit breaks/wears out...I like manuals for delivery because I can leave it running and 9/10 won’t be able to drive it off😂😂😂
Are you in the expected tip? They change to expected tip prices, the app says $10 and then they pay you $3, because they expect $10 with tip, but the problem is that there's no tips. Before they did this, I was making more in tips then Uber, because I live in a part of long island that tips well, but now! I make no tips! What happen? I know what happen. Uber is taking the tips away. It not the first time they do this. They have been sued for this in the past.
I don't think uber takes tips away. Try to send a message everytime you deliver. I even saw people writing notes and add them to the order. That helps allot.

How do you keep your rating from slipping? After just a couple deliveries my rating went to 85%!! Idk how to improve the rating
You have to deliver 100s to have it more accurate.
Also ratings are based on the last 100 orders. I have 97% for past 100 orders.
no hotbag?
When you deliver to a condo, do you have to go to the actual apartment number?
Most of the time Yes.
I think I seen you in commercial not sure what
I was on CNBC
What phone are you using? So I can avoid it, lol.

The coffee coupon was for a hot coffee bro ordering frappe lol

8:41 cold stone is literally the most expensive ice cream place.....and the person tips 92 cents...in a pandemic, figures
That was some cold hearted **** right there.
@@garageworker I dont think you should need to tip anyone dude
jason corrrigan You’re right, you don’t have to. Just go pick it up yourself.
@@garageworker why do that when I can have it delivered
jason corrrigan 😂😂😂 cheap ass
And 20% for taxes that like 75 bucks for the day.. You have to put a side the 20% for taxes..
ogro gruñon you pay taxes on "profit", don't forget there is a lot of thing that you can deduct, like gas mileage, cell phone bill etc!
Amazon flex is the best gig it seems

SUV are not made for run around delivery vehicle, get yourself a cheap Corolla or civic, maybe manual if you like ,but definitely not an SUV...bigger car, bigger tires and parts=bigger bill when shit breaks/wears out...I like manuals for delivery because I can leave it running and 9/10 won’t be able to drive it off😂😂😂
Yep I agree. It's just the car I have so that's what I use.
@@HowMuchBitcoin Good shit man,I like your energy bro,Ima try it as side hustle. Thanks for motivating me to try it.God bless and good luck my friend
TheLokoViejo
I drive a manual as well, don't worry about people stealing also since most can't drive a stick lol 😂
@@HowMuchBitcoin let's just say, I was making part time $600 to 800 dollars a week, now I'm making if lucky $200. Last week I made $119 it's a huge difference plus their prices went down %30 now they give jobs for $2.50 Uber right now its horrendous. I stop telling people about it, because that's another thing its saturated with drivers, and they don't care. Why should they, there getting new suckers every week.
I know you think they don't take the tips because, its unthinkable but, going from having good tip average to basically nothing over night is suspicious plus having shady practices, and being sued for the same thing I believe it. Just look it up on Google! Uber getting sued for keeping tip. And believe what you want to believe.
