      ***** That's because the fuel is sloshing around in the tank. In reality, he wouldn't have used up more than 2-300 milliliters while making this video, and that's because he floored it.

    • @muslimspam
      @muslimspam  7 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Since it was a ~9km "floored" stretch, I'd say at least 1l (1000ml) went down the drain. Even 1.5l (1500ml) since from the 3rd km it's quite
      uphill :-)

    245 hp... Wasn't this the EZ30D engine? Or did they use the 3.6L already in 2003? That's pretty damn impressive for a workaday 3.0L engine in 2003. Sounds awesome either way.

    • @muslimspam
      @muslimspam  9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      muslimspam Yes, I was making sure this was the EZ30 like I thought it should be for 2003. 245 hp is really good for a 2003 3.0L production engine. Thank you.

    • @The.JZA.
      @The.JZA. 8 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      +Bryan Liguori It's the EZ30D with the modified intake and more exhaust valves per cylinder (3 vs 1). It also has electronic throttle and a lighter weight plastic intake rather than alloy. The newer EZ30D, also known as EZ30R by enthusiasts, has 25HP more and 8Nm more available 200rpm earlier in the rev range (297Nm@4200rpm vs 289Nm@4400RPM). Bought the car in it’s facelifted version (MY2007) and swapped out the exhaust for quite a good combo - headers, sport CATs, high-flow center piece and tail part from Kakimoto. Did a very long test drive once, trying to hold it above 200-220kph for most of the time (of course it was on an 800km long racetrack, not on a public road, duh :-D ) and the milage was pretty constant 14-14.5mpg

      It’s just a reasonably fast sedan, right, no higher expectations needed. It’s curves and curvy roads where it shines and brings it on 🤗
