actually I just researched this car and with the manual it gets the STi 6 speed and can do 0 - 100 in 6 seconds! wow the 6 speed has very close gear ratios the auto is very spaced out in terms of ratios

The newer EZ30D, also known as EZ30R by enthusiasts, has 25HP more and 8Nm more available 200rpm earlier in the rev range (297Nm@4200rpm vs 289Nm@4400RPM). My friend got crazy Seat Leon 1,8T, tuned to about 240hp. At the same time my uncle got Impreza WRX (220-ish hp). On drag race Leon chewed that Impreza. Unless they hit corners...
Don't be so happy - I have the same 3.0R Legacy and at 240km/h my GPS shows 224km/h :( With straight long enough, I can get over 260km/h, yet the top speed on GPS never exeeded 237km/h (99 octane Shell V-Power Racing fuel + me + one passenger). The car reaches real 100km/h when the clock shows around 110km/h. Stock tires and wheels.
Gotta do an actual measurement, again. Bought the car in it’s facelifted version (MY2007) and swapped out the exhaust for quite a good combo - headers, sport CATs, high-flow center piece and tail part from Kakimoto. Pretty curious, what numbers I can pull with it. When driving it, low-end feels pretty nifty compared to the stock system.

Tom Hambling no it's still in automatic in sports mode, manual override is activated when the gear number is there with the sport light deactivated, sport mode just changes the gears higher with normal driving

Coilovers (Öhlins Road&Track), engine fully rebuilt (head gasket thingie), full exhaust swap (headers, mid, tail), tranny waiting for summer (summer munnay 😄).

Which country is this in? LHD but metric speedometer suggests either UAE or SE Asia somewhere? Wish I had the chance to stretch my liberty's legs like this - definitely not going to do it on the street and don't have a race track with a long enough straight here to try it.
NaturalStrong1 just don't let it overheat. I just had to get a new engine because my thermostat went and the radiator clogged and that caused it to heat up and blow the head gasket. I recommend just getting a new radiator and thermostat plus pressure testing the coolent system. Edit: this is after 270000kms mind you.
Maybe because I owned the car and I know what I owned? We did not have the GT here in Europe, FYI. This was a 11/2003 180kW 3.0H6 BL/BP Legacy. Trust me if you don't trust your ears (because a GT sound completely different thanks to the turbocharger) ;-)

Prices are quite steep though, since there's "nothing better" in Subaru terms and people tend to think about it as if it was some goddamn unicorn. The AT gear selector moves to the left, when in D(rive) mode, where it is in S(port) until you try to shift gears manually, then it switches to M(anual) mode. On the facelifted model (2007+), there’s a mode-wheel near the gear selector, the so called “SI Drive”.
Adam Ross the one in the video was a 04/2004 model, now I have an 11/2007 Spec.B. Consumption depends on your driving style, and as “bigger” engines are used to, city traffic has a huge effect on it. I’m never the slowest car on the road, yet do maintain speed limits within urban areas and my longtime average is 12-13l per 100km (21mpg UK, 18mpg US)

Da Valentin, it was completely stock, but it had to get used to be driven like stolen, so it was a tiny bit faster than other friends' H6 Legacies after a certain time :-)
Did a very long test drive once, trying to hold it above 200-220kph for most of the time (of course it was on an 800km long racetrack, not on a public road, duh :-D ) and the milage was pretty constant 14-14.5mpg

The gps has errors, always giving slower speed as compared to actual speed.
