I just bought A Perilous Undertaking this weekend! It was a hunt to find the series in hardcover 😅plant shopping is such a spring activity, I’m here for it!! I kill my plants every season but I’m still trying 😂

I actually read CC1 before any other SJM book and loved it when I first started ACOTAR I struggled but by the end fell in love. ACOTAR is currently my fav but I do love CC so much
I really like Katie reading style but I don’t know how people can read more than one book at a time if I tried this i would forget what i read but the a perilous undertaking sounds really good
I think reading multiple books at a time is almost like pausing a show or movie or watching an episode or 2 and then going back to it later...I do it all the time and it's fun. I like reading multiple books because I'm just excited to get to certain ones or it depends on my mood so I maybe reading 2 or 3 different genres at a time. Once I've read from 2 books for 20 minutes at a time, it was fun. Happy multiple book reading!😊

I read Great Expectations in high school many, many, many years ago. I plan to read it again soon. I'm currently reading the Throne of Glass series and, honestly, enjoying it. I just finished the fourth book and am starting the novellas. I may have given up on it after the second book with all its typos, but my little rural library was so sweet to track down the rest and order them for me that I kept going. I'm so glad I did. I'm also reading a little book called Maida's Little Shop. My niece loaned it to me and it's really sweet. I'm starting Chocolat, as well, because I walked into the library on Valentine's Day and they were showing movies from books. Chocolat is one of my favorite movies and I had no idea it was a screen adaptation of a novel so, of course, I had to check the book out. I'm moving to a different state soon so I need to get all these library books read! :D Thanks for another fun and inspiring video!

I know its been a bit, but I would suggest using Caron Simply Soft yarn for creating Howl's jacket. That's what I used for mine and it makes it a lot more flexible and I love the look of it. If you wanted a cheaper option, there's also Caron One Pound, which works really well also, even though I didn't like it as much, I did use it for a mock up.
OMG i am so excited about you wanting to read Anne of Green Gables!! It is my favourite classic of all time (along with The Wizard of Oz)! If you like it, I highly recommend reading the second and third books as well, but honestly the rest of the series is not nearly as good in my opinion. And the 1985 mini series adaptation is literally so so good, so you should definitely watch that if you haven't!

I just finished The Dragon's Promise this morning and I enjoyed it more then the first book because there was more explanations and adventure in the storyline. The ending was a surprising twist with things and I thought another thing would have happened but I enjoyed the book. My next books on the agenda are The House in the Cerulean Sea, start reading City of Glass, and read Witch Hat Atelier 2 graphic novel and The Girl from the Other Side 7 & 8 graphic novels for a good break of novel reading. The only classic book I have read is Dracula. Enjoyed the cozy reading vlog and looking forward on checking out a Sarah J. Mass series and Veronica Speedwell Mystery - A Curious Beginning.

I finished volume 3 of Lore Olympus on the weekend - really enjoying these graphic novels and now waiting (im)patiently for Volume 4 in, I think you said, June. I’m also currently reading Great Expectations, starting chapter 15, so still early in the book. Enjoying it a lot. The next classic I’m considering reading is Tale of Genji - I want to at least start it this month as my March of the Mammoths read… (read a book of over 800 pages). Have you ever read any Jasper Fforde? He is a British author, and wrote a series of books about a character called Thursday Next, in an alternate UK (Swindon) about the literary police and it is full of in jokes about books. Miss Haversham appears in the series as well. The first book is called The Eyre Affair (it was published in 2001), I found it really funny, there’s a bit of a whodunnit in the storyline and hopefully the very British sense of humour it is built upon translates well.
I’m so excited to read Great Expectations 1. Because I already wanted to read it this year lol and I just want to know more about Ms. Havisham. I remember watching part of the movie when I was younger & seeing her sitting in her rocking chair surrounded by cobwebs & a clock that stopped working left a big impression on me lol. and 2. Because of The Last Hours. I sort of read A Tale of Two Cities for summer reading in high school and barely remember any of it except I didn’t get like half of it lol. I want to re-read it because if TID, specifically to know more about Sydney Carton 😅. My main focus right now is *supposed* to be David Copperfield but I returned my copy to the library because it just wasn’t doing it for me even though I was enjoying the story lol. I have the audiobook ready to go but I kind of want to immersion read it because it’s so dang long lol so I keep putting continuing it off 😆
yes ms. havisham is such an interesting character and i loved the scenes with her in them! and seeing her parallels to tatiana was super fun as well, and maybe taking a break from david copperfield is exactly what you need!

🎉🎉🎉Awesome vlog -and approaching 40K subs!!! After A Sinister Revenge I started rereading the series from book 1-instead of starting Way of Kings 😆-I am truly a mood reader. HOSAB got 4.5 stars from me last year but not sure how I would rate it now. I went on a SJM rereading frenzy last year including ACOTAR and TOG. I even read Catwoman:Soulstealer - but I don’t recommend that one 😂. You annotated the hell out of G.E. I wish I could find a classic I enjoyed as much!

I try to read one classic a month so the last one I read was Pride and Prejudice but I really didn’t care for any of the characters so that was a fail.😅 I’ll read the picture of Dorian Gray next so maybe after that I’ll pick up Great expectations.
i also kind of feel like it’s hard to connect with some of jane austen’s characters? great expectations is told in the first person so i feel like it’s easier to connect to the main character!

i finished clockwork prince and i loved it way more than clockwork angel the whole adventure was so fun to read and finally getting down the nitty gritty definitely gonna read clockwork princess next. i personally think the veronica speedwell series is better! stalking jack the ripper definitely drags in some points, so i feel like the veronica speedwell series is paced better? however i don’t know if i have a fav romance out of the two, they’re both SO good!
I have a lot of classics I want to read but the classics I have read haven't been my favorite mostly because I get so lost, even when I understand whats happening. Do you have any advice to read classics, in addition to annotating?
sometimes reading along with an audiobook is helpful! it does make it a bit harder to annotate since you have to pause before you can write things down, but i think it helps my retention overall!

🎉🎉🎉Awesome vlog -and approaching 40K subs!!! After A Sinister Revenge I started rereading the series from book 1-instead of starting Way of Kings 😆-I am truly a mood reader. HOSAB got 4.5 stars from me last year but not sure how I would rate it now. I went on a SJM rereading frenzy last year including ACOTAR and TOG. I even read Catwoman:Soulstealer - but I don’t recommend that one 😂. You annotated the hell out of G.E. I wish I could find a classic I enjoyed as much!

I try to read one classic a month so the last one I read was Pride and Prejudice but I really didn’t care for any of the characters so that was a fail.😅 I’ll read the picture of Dorian Gray next so maybe after that I’ll pick up Great expectations.
i also kind of feel like it’s hard to connect with some of jane austen’s characters? great expectations is told in the first person so i feel like it’s easier to connect to the main character!

I just started a reread of City of Bones this morning because I want to catch up on the series. I'm actually flying through it pretty quickly. And EVERY TIME I try to do a reread of City of Bones, I lose my copy somehow, so hoping that doesn't happen this time! I love your videos!

i finished clockwork prince and i loved it way more than clockwork angel the whole adventure was so fun to read and finally getting down the nitty gritty definitely gonna read clockwork princess next. Question....after i finish clockwork princess i can go straight into the last hours or should i at least reading heavenly fire before?

i personally think the veronica speedwell series is better! stalking jack the ripper definitely drags in some points, so i feel like the veronica speedwell series is paced better? however i don’t know if i have a fav romance out of the two, they’re both SO good!

I have a lot of classics I want to read but the classics I have read haven't been my favorite mostly because I get so lost, even when I understand whats happening. Do you have any advice to read classics, in addition to annotating?
sometimes reading along with an audiobook is helpful! it does make it a bit harder to annotate since you have to pause before you can write things down, but i think it helps my retention overall!
