Camden was led by ESPN #44 and Kentucky commit Lance Ware, while Rancho Christian featured the #1 ranked recruit in the 2020 class, USC commit Evan Mobley, along with ESPN #60 Dominick Harris, committed to Gonzaga.

It’s a very poor area that, that school is in not exactly ever in America’s Top 10 places to live..they are usually on the other side of that spectrum. However, they always have very good Athletes.. they seem to have Racho confused by the zone .. they were only playing two basic zones as far as I could see.. they were trying too hard to break the zone from the outside.. that is not how you kill a zone if the other team understands their responsibilities you have to dribble into it using picks

The way he seals his man on the post/low-block and his positioning for offensive rebounds are SKILLS especially for someone his age. Haven't seen this level of intensity in a while it's so fun to watch. Once he hits the weight room at UK he'll convert his shots at the rim a lot better.

im gonna keep it real on Mobley. He's a solid player but he shouldnt be ranked number 1 in the 2020 class. Cade Cunningham, Jalen Green, Terrance Clarke, Scott Barnes, Greg Brown, Jalen Suggs,and a few other guys looked more impressive to me.

Can we agree the ranking system is broken? My boys from Camden ate Mobley up. Taquon Woolley, who they’re not considering a 5 start recruit, which is wild...dominated him all night, let alone what lance did to him. I know the kids got super potential. But absolutely zero killer instinct to go along with all those skills. Camden is a public school with 600 students, but it shows what the heart of this city does for a team.

Rankings are sectional and shifty they often leave out late bloomers.
Yet each class won't have more than 19 5 stars... Especially 247 sports or Rivals and ESPN. The top
300 consist of majority 4 star player.
But when your listed in the top 500 out of the country is a big deal regardless

And yes he has had some amazing games but that’s it some games. He’s not that consistent and those tools they be talking about .... well he should bring them more often. Evan is a great passer as well and was making great passes all game, the rest of his team just didn’t play well. Rancho Christians got heavily outplayed by a freshmen. That’s not on Evan either so stop hating on a 18 year old kid.

He's not as explosive at this point, and maybe his handle is below, but DJ reminds me of Kyrie Irving. Just a crazy amount of handle, a mean jumper, plays with pace, can get wherever he wants, change speeds, finish with both hands, everything. This is what a future pro looks like.

Wow how sad whenever the boast about Mobley, he is going to get a lot of coaches fired. He has noand heart for the game. Ware it was the first time I had seen this kid, he reminded me of Ronny Siekly, who played at syracuse with a lot of intensity. This kid had like five dunks in the first half against mobley who should feel some kind of way being ranked like number one but played as if he should not have abeen ranked at all. If you look at USC, his brother is the same way lacks aggression, he was a burger boy yet does not even start for unranked usc. If I was Mobley, I would go to Austrailia and play over there for a year and go straight pro because I dont see him going to college and doing well. He is a 7 footer who can not even hold a post, does not rebound well for someone 7 foot, he did not shot he is a solid rim protector as freshman guards were coming to the hole with no fear. He did not show he can score the ball well either however, he did show that he could run the floor well if he wants too. I just dont see him in the league unless he really changes his level of committment, I really admire guys like ware who do not live off their summer but put in the work. All he needs is a 15 footer and work on his passing and ball handling so he can play eventually a small forward position.
Lance Ware's motor is amazing.
Mobley is 10 times better than Ware. It's not even a comparison. Mobley isn't on a stacked team so he gets doubled every time he touches the ball.

Great to see a New Jersey team beat the #18 team in the country from Cali. It is time to rank Camden in the top 25 nationally. Although they lost to the #2 team in the country in Montverde academy. They played good enough to still be ranked in the top 25 teams in the nation by MaxPreps. Way to go Camden.

An incredibly high arching shot over a seven footer doesn't seem like the greatest shot to me. A normal layup or floater there is getting sent into orbit by Mobely. That's not a bad play at all maybe a fake into the three but the idea to pass it out of there was not a bad one at all
