Flipping heck! From 80/2 to 90/7!!! How??? Then again, did well to win. Would have been a strange feeling for Abid to get a 5-fer and lose that match 😅. Fitting he scored the winning runs to have good nights sleep 👍🏽👍🏽.
Not sure about LBW. Was a lot happening there to be sure that was hitting. They need to bring the spinner on earlier. He will get wickets but will also go for a few runs, so in a low scoring game they left him to late.
I know this is controversial, but I think you guys should go the fake pitches like Australia. Don't get me wrong, I love real pitches, but the bowling is just so slow compared to any adult level of cricket in Australia. I believe this is because you'll get nothing out of a fake grass pitch but must be quick or really skilled. I'm English but played many years of cricket in Australia
Horses for courses. If you played on our slow low pitches you'd be all over the place playing shots too early expecting bounce. Leading edges galore....
@thecricketingbison6418 I was like that to all bowling 😆😆but a big problem with England is the lack of genuine pace bowlers. I'm an English supporter and love the feel of village cricket, so I have no hate at all
@paullewis6354 A big problem is that it makes people not want to fast because there's no reward compared to bowling slower because it gets more movement off the pitch. It wouldn't be too bad if the national team made their pitches the same and are happy to beat everyone at home but struggle overseas like India traditionally do.
Can people stop complaining about stupid arm positions, both on Bisons side and the other side this is VILLAGE CRICKET FFS we all know nothing will be done by the leagues or the Umpires on the day so get over it people
I'm not knocking them, but 90% of the bowlers wouldn't get a bowl in the Australian equivalent. The minute a round arm bowler bowled, it would be his first and last over. I'm English but played lots of cricket in Australia. I honestly believe it's the pitches. In Australia, all lower level cricket uses fake grass pitches, meaning the pitches will do nothing at all, so you must have speed and some level of skill. I love Village cricket. The lunches, etc. In Australia, you have to bring all your own food and drinks, and lunch is usually sitting under a tree on the ground to get out of the sun.
Can anyone please explain why I get so tense watching a village side I know no-one in which is in a county 120 miles from home?
Amazing commentary skills :)
@@thecricketingbison6418 Well you have to be good at something, I guess.
Because it's real. Players actually represent their local area.
Another fun game to watch - thanks for the entertainment.
Another great win lads. Very jealous as we had a great start to the season but haven't won since May or June. Great vid
The white fence is looking particuarly resplendent.

Yes all rounder on the same day. We love that!
The dive was salmon like indeed, a tin of John West falling off the back of a lorry!!
GREAT WIN BOYS WELL BOWLED
Entertaining game, worth the ride out.
Hey dude it was good to have one of our fans come down!
Hey dude, I came down with my kids to watch you guys. Your dad was there, was last year.@thecricketingbison6418
Was looking worrying, but well done guys.
The geezer who had a strop about the misfield and then gave away another extra 😂
Smooned me,😂😂😂!
Their spinner was unplayable! Brought him on far too late
Yep he was very good!
Try avoiding spoiling the outcome in the title! Great watch regardless
Like batting on the Somme
I miss the big hit sound effect!
Aye it will be back this weekend
Their opener from the camera end is throwing it.
Don’t ever let Sameer umpire again
Haha we are an honest fair team

TBF, I suspect higher divisions, even in this league, will likely have quicker bowlers - but the pitches are probably fairly slow still.

Hey look at that... a spin bowler that doesn't need to chuck. Glad they didnt score an extra 10-15 runs that would've been nail biting!
Not sure you should do a slow mo when Anil is bowling......
His action is fine.... We've checked it. So has the league.
I agree with you, in the main, it's the quicker one that appears to be an issue. Oh nice long barrier btw, CB...
At this stage, Anil should possibly be pitching for the Boston Red Sox rather than ‘bowling’ in cricket.
A fabulous low scorer...!
woot number 2 comment from down under
