I've found a glitch in red ball 4 that doesn't do something in a speed run. 1. Go to a level 2. Pause the game 3. Press the dots in the pause menu and at the waiting tap many times the retry button. If you hear the retry sound congratulations you did it. The only thing that will happen is that some graphics will glitch out and all the gold metals will be missing. However you can fix it by re-enter a level. (Only works on mobile versions)
While I don't speedrun myself, I do enjoy watching speed runs. Mainly ones of Mario from places like GDQ, but your presentation and clear passion for such a simple flash game makes the videos extremely interesting and I always look forward to them. Is any of the information useful to me? No. Will i watch anyways because it'a fascinating? Yes

I have a theory for Raindrop. Based off the image, Raindrop was probably a game where u had a small tall glass and it was raining so u had to collect the raindrops with the glass.
Weirdly enough, whilst only being a casual player I knew about the lasers being removed. I was like: ''What the hell is going on?! When I last fought this boss, it's lasers were the hardest part yet, and why the Heck it just moves like this?!'' As you can tell by this word-to-word transition, I was really, *REALLY* Confused. I thought that the game code had trouble running the mobile laser and just lagged this part out (Or alternatively, I thought: Because this part was so hard and maybe Laggy, Dev just cut it out completely). but thanks to you, I know more about this topic.
In the moon bossfight, the lasers now move again instead of just closing in, however the last phase of the boss was nerfed to where the boss no longer changes your gravity each time he jumps, only changes gravity when hit.

I don't think the space bar mashing is an rb5 specific glitch, it might just be an engine thing. I was messing around with an html5 remake of a game I played as a kid (Moto X3M) and the glitch was there as well. Might just be a coincedence but not sure.
How much work/effort has been put in to understanding the RB2 Level 13 Checkpoint occurrence, and examining the obfuscated code? I’m not the best, but I might be able to help, and seems like a fun project. Also, is there a RB discord? Or is your discord sort of used as one.
i cant help but wonder if the guy who made the first speedrun with the 45 minute long run who in his video put "...will be hard to improve" did that deliberately knowing it was going to be improved upon easily so that it would encourage people to think "oh i bet i could beat that time" just to get people running it

When you throw the wooden stick thingy near the end to the bottomless hole the game plays plays the "level replay" sound and the level background changes to a guy with a cat on a bed(? The bed isnt really visible). IDK but it would be obvious that its one of the devs of the mobile version

In red ball hero on friv, if you press down or s at any point (even on water!), you will get imense downards speed. With that i beat level 19 almost under 6 seconds.
I found an mobile rb4 glitch (free version) if you have 1 life and die when the hearts are empty just leave the app an if you are lucky you'll have 0 lifes but it's really rng based and it might crash your game
