The problem with Mec-Gar 10mm 1911 mags? They don't make 9 rounders. For 10mm, most mag makers have a 9rd model (10rd version is rare, Tripp has them, maybe someone else also), but Mec-Gar only got 8 rounders. That's why I use Mec-Gar 8rd 45ACP and 10rd 9mm mags, but for 10mm I'd look elsewhere :)

Plan to use on a CMP 1911. So WC came de-facto recommended, but hard to find!

I’ve recently learned you can use the Wilson combat extended 45 mag and load 10mm in them . Runs fine in my ruger 1911 10mm

Love my 10mm but only having eight rounds would be rough. I hope he picked up the cases

I always pick up my brass, assuming I can find them all. The Rock Island flings the brass a good ways. I have found cases as far as 25’ from where I was shooting.
