I have 4 blendjets and I really don't have any problem with them yes every once in a while something may get jammed in it but that's to be expected I just turn it upside down shake it back-and-forth turn the blend jet back on upside down and it fixes the problem. But to avoid any jamming always always put your liquid in 1st before your frozen fruit.

That blendjet 2 looks like it does a way better job! I actually hate my blendjet 1 so much gets stuck with everything. I can't believe I didn't know it had a strainer on top though. I always just thought it was one piece lmao. Thanks you actually taught me something

thank you for the video comparison! I almost got the one because of the strainer and price but the 2 looks way better in your video. It holds more liquid, has a stronger motor, and has a cuter start button. :)

I have had this a month or so and love it. I bought another brand to have as backup and hate it. I will be buying another blend-jet two.

I wish I saw this before I got my Blend Jet 1! Although there are pros and cons to both. I love the strainer on the 1 and the fact that if I lose the cord I think my phone cord will work but....the size of the 2 is bigger which I like and that probably also helps it blend better and quicker along with the blades. I may need to get a blendjet 2 also! Thank you for your review!

@@natejones8508 $50 isn't cheap for me! Lol. Im a single parent living in New England. I'll end up getting one eventually. Going to have to use the one I have for a while though. It jams up quite frequently I've noticed and forget about crushing ice in it! But it still does the job with protein shakes.

@@natejones8508 no worries! No need to apologize! I'm going to invest in one. Hopefully before the Blendjet 3 comes out! Lol. I literally just bought the Blendjet 1 about a month ago. I got a god price. I think I paid $35 with S&H. I'll use that for now and maybe I'll get myself a 2 for my birthday in a few months!

The blend jet one is good for making milkshakes but if you add ice it will not grind it that’s why I like the blend jet 2

You might want to microwave/defrost the frozen fruit for about 10 seconds so you don't burn out your motor or get the fruit stuck

Not much difference but the 2 just looks better to me. I am use to Nutribullet RX and my Vitamix. Love the fact that you can take it on the go. Thank You! Now want to see comparison between Blendjet-2 and Nutribullet Go.

Thank you thank you! I had bought the Blendjet 1 from Value Village and it worked for 3 days then stopped. People here commented on the magnet issue. And then when I clean that little baby out and removed any wet access that was on the magnet and any dirt from other foods, it cleaned up like a charm. But now I have glued that magnet into place hopefully so that it never falls out. Now I went and bought a second one which is the Blendjet 2, and I don’t know whether to cancel the order or to keep the new one coming.
Keep the new one coming because you’ll love that one!!

If you used the first Blend Jet a lot before you got the 2, the blades would be duller for sure. If its new, then that is a DEFINITE upgrade for the 2

There were numerous complaints about the blend jet one motor being weak and not spinning properly so i had to shake it alot for it to spin. So i ordered the blend jet 2 which is an upgrade from the first one as far as the motor.
A huge difference!
It definitely sounds stronger.
1st one Not worth $50 that's for sure.
Although this video was done 3yrs ago, I have blend jet one, thank you for the difference, between the two, I may get blend jet two next.

Thanks for your effort, much appreciate. A very big difference seems not showing in your video, the blendjet 2 is Centrifugal motor while blendjet 1 is Central motor. That will have a different effect, if you have interest, I will tell you more.

I would try the "1" simply for the strainer feature...
Quite honestly, I never found the strainer to work. The chunks would just get caught in the strainer so it didn't really strain anything out it would just get plugged up.
I think BlendJet 2 just stopped once because you added too much fruits in it. In the commercial they don’t put that much but I’m still obsessed with BlendJet 2
Yes you’re correct. They put mostly liquid in there for demonstration. To show how fast it blends. But yes the fruit can get stuck under the blade if it’s too much in there.

I was thinking of getting the 2 just for it's portability. However, it looks as though it leaves a lot of chunks, doesn't blend smooth. I use frozen okra in smoothies and that must be blended smooth. My Ninja does a great job but not very portable.
It does work fine and you can turn it upside down, remove the base and drink straight from the cup!

I wonder if they changed the BJ1. Mine doesn't have the strainer and it doesn't quite look like that. It has measurements on the jar. I got it a few months ago at Bed Bath and Beyond. I just bought the BJ2 since I liked the first so much. I figured I'd use one for dressings and one for drinks. I live on the road as a trucker and they're both super easy to clean with just bottled water and a drop of dish soap.
I’m not quite sure if they have changed the BJ1 or not but yes they are very convenient to have on the road!

If they’re gonna call it “Blendjet 2” why does neither the packaging nor the product itself actually label itself as such? I had to look up this video just to tell what the two look like compared to each other just I could know whether I got my girlfriend the right one for Christmas or not because she wanted the 2. Thankfully, the power buttons look different so that was a helpful distinguisher.
Very helpful. I’d just purchased the Blendjet One when they launched the Blendjet 2, so now I’m stuck with it! I just wanted to see the comparison out of curiosity. I noticed how your Blendjet One cut off when you were doing the detergent cleaning. Mine did that too when I first opened it to prepare it before first use, as per the instructions. However, I stupidly never went on to use it further afterwards and it’s been packed away ever since! (Been using my nutribullet instead). Anyway, apart from that, yours seems to work just fine here so I hope it’s not a fault with the blenders!

The jar on the BlendJet 1 I believe is a little smaller.

No absolutely not! The BlendJet 2 in my opinion is way better than the BlendJet one.

They were great!
Not a very fair comparison with the BlendJet 2 (Far more powerful than the original) when you don't follow instructions! No matter what blender you use, you ALWAYS put LIQUIDS FIRST and THEN the SOLIDS otherwise the solids can definitely wedge themselves under the blades.

Be careful I got mine wet and then a little while later charged it and it caught fire! Make sure it is completely dry

First of all when blending anything always put liquids in first. Always. Then it won't get stuck. I originally had the first one 4 yrs ago and got so frustrated with it I threw it in the trash can because Eben customer service sucked well I just told them that recently and they are sending out a blendjet2 to replace it. Second of all that is not I repeat NOT alkaline water. I know for a fact. I tested that water and they use chemicals to alkaline it so it's what we call a fake alkaline. I tested it with a ph tester. It's actually very acidic. All bottled water is. Because water can only stay alkaline for up to maybe about 4 to 5 days even faster from a plastic bottle which leaks toxins into the water and those water bottles have been on the store shelves for a very long time not to mention the back of a truck probably in the sun when unloading which also decorates them faster and they sit in the warehouse up to a year before being shipped. I like making fresh akalinized water at home . I bought one of those Kangen Japanese water machines from another you tuber alklanizedandoiled

Complete aside here, but as soon as you expose 8.8 alkaline water to light, it begins to degrade and return to normal ph. If you bought it at a grocery store, it's a complete waste of your money. It may have been 8.8 when you bought it, but I guarantee if you test it now, it's nowhere near 8.8. If you're trying to get high alkali water, get a kangen water machine. There re many to choose from at different price points.

@@caitxp6770 It means that unless you get alkaline water straight from a machine and drink it right away, "alkaline water" isn't alkaline anymore. By the time it hits grocery store shelves, it's the same as tap water. If you get some from a machine and keep it away from light (in a black container), it might stay alkaline for half a day.
