The only thing bothering me is the bottle jack (old git) could you use an powered bottle jack or is it specifically designed for that

My bottle jack is past it's best so it probably would be easier with a new one. The bottle jack is a standard item with a couple of bits added, an adjustable stand bolted on the base and a piece welded on the the top of the extending plunger. The jack is removed once it's work is done so I suppose any form of lifting device could be adapted
